      Dabo never said anything negative about NIL. He was against players receiving a salary…and made those comments before anything was mentioned about NIL…but go off.

    Disagree. If we lose to UGA, then it won't matter in their eyes, but any other loss (other than a potential ACC Champ loss to UNC or Miami if they're ranked high) will penalize us. We've been fortunate in the past to have other teams losing when we did.

    He never opposed NIL, he opposed “professionalizing” college football. He doesn’t want bidding wars between schools for recruits, he doesn’t want to have a salary cap, he wants there to be student athletes instead of athletes that don’t have to attend class, and are just there to be athletes. This quote was from 2014, when NIL was barely even heard of...he’s never opposed NIL. Don’t try to make it something it’s not. You’re smarter than that, Mav.
