    Does your friends name rhyme with Savid Dhaw? Or Mo joglia? Fott Sost? Bimbo Shischer? No to all of those... This person is a family friend and not a big name. His HC is one of coaches that is on this candidate waiting list I was referring to. I am not feeding you any bad info or made up stuff here. Check my profile. I've been posting on HB for years and have never claimed to have inside info. Just this one time, I actually have real info from another university's perspective and I thought it was something to contribute to this thread. Why would I have any reason to make this up if it only confirms something we already know?

    What if the Fayetteville trip wasn't about getting a HC, but a DC? Randy Shannon is currently Arkansas' LB coach and he was seen as one of the best DCs in the country when he was at Miami.

    Ok, I have some minor info that kind of confirms something we already know, but I'd thought I'd post it anyways. I know someone on another DI football coaching staff (will say if the info becomes relevant) and their program is somewhat following our coaching search because thier HC is on the candidate waiting list. Right now, there is definitely a coach (not sure who) Eichorst is particularly targeting and he has already interviewed this person (not sure what day). This person believes Eichorst is waiting for this prospect to accept or decline the job (and that coach may have already made a decision) before he reaches out to the other coaches he has on his candidate waiting list. Obviously, if this person accepts, Eichorst doesn't reach out to these other coaches.

    Is that particular plane connected to UNL in anyway? I don't how or if it's connected at all. But is a nice private jet by the looks of pictures. And it has just landed in Fayetteville. What if this trip wasn't about getting a HC, but a DC? Randy Shannon is currently Arkansas' LB coach and he was seen as one of the best DCs in the country when he was at Miami. One potential hole in this theory though is that Randy was also out recruiting today (I think in Miami).

    I quit. Screw this. Talk about an ultimate F you to the fans if this happens. How the hell are we supposed to be excited about this? The whole point of getting rid of Bo was to escape mediocrity and pursue everyone's aspirations of becoming nationally relevant again. He sure as hell isn't doing that at Arkansas!     What "truth" is there to know? They're making it sound like Bo has cancer or something and resigned. This smacks of Bo injecting some conspiracy theory into the player's minds about how everyone was out to get him. Just my guess: Bo's narrative is that Perlman never liked him, or perhaps didn't like him after the A&M incident, and so waited for TO to retire and brought in Eichorst to fire Bo at the appropriate time. Bo did have an excuse for everything. Wouldn't surprise me if he passed the blame on something else again...

    If I had to take a shot in the dark about this, I'd guess Pelini was told he needed to make staff changes or he'd be gone. A lot of players mentioned "morals" and "integrity" in the their posts.

    Isn't Palo Alto near San Fran? Maybe it's not for Harbaugh but for Shaw. I still want Tressel, but I'm just trying to add to this discussion. I think Shaw would be more likely than Harbaugh. Don't the Raiders want Harbaugh bad enough that they're considering giving up draft picks for him?

    How did this friend get into this discreet location? He works there, in a capacity where he definitely cannot pull out his phone and try to grab a picture or I would have asked him to. Gotcha. Appreciate the info, but as you can imagine, we have to take claims like this with a grain of salt. Definitely hope it's true though!
