  1. I agree, it is idiotic in terms of how us fans feel. But...if I was in the position or my kids or friends...I would want them to have the choice that best fits them. Also, this is just a guess, but I would imagine a chem student with a possible cancer cure has more than like 100 people relying on them.
  2. That I don't know. I would guess that the since everyone at college is there for learning (in one way shape or form) that the % is very high of students that transfer. I transfered.
  3. Yeah, maybe, you could be right. I just like the idea of choice.
  4. School as in also play on the team. Just like if a kid with a full ride for being smart transferred...he/she would get to start working on his/her cancer cure at the new school right away with their full ride. The football player should be able to do the same.
  5. It isn't free...just like the dude that got a full ride for smarts...these guys worked their ass off.
  6. Right, and that is how it should be and they should be able to start at the next school as soon as the next semester starts. No sitting out or anything like that.
  7. Football commits don't mean a thing...Basketball usually does. With that said, I think you should be able to sign and break that signing anytime you want. In the end, this is a freaking game...not life and death. It is like non-compete contracts in business...f#*k that.
  8. It seems clear that Frost might like what is currently here but he also knows he can/has gotten better. I think Frost knows that they will be getting a lot of easy reads in the passing game and that it makes more sense to have a guy that can run to keep the defense in easy to read packages.
  9. It is positive that we have a new coach, that the bad one is gone. It is positive that a coach that was talked out of the choices he wanted to make is no longer here. It is positive that we will have a new and exciting offense. The crap is gone.
  10. Remember all the fans that thought poor JT was going to be really good and get so much better? JT simply doesn't have the feet or body control. Most bigs lack it, it is why the good bigs are so coveted. Most coaches realize this and would rather go with an undersized by athletic "big" instead of a tree.
  11. It does show it, you just have to want to see. The boogy man is gone. The fear of average is gone.
  12. I think it is because some fans understand how things work... 7-0: No toxins Start losing games: Toxins Riley was a .500 coach before he came here...he was 19-19 here...I guess there was a toxin it just happened to be the toxin of .500 ball. The boogy man does exist and he was the head coach of the Huskers for the last 3 years.
  13. Man, I have not seen it yet but a lot of you really get into the details. I wish I could but I guess when it comes to watching movies I don't get all that into it. Some of you notice or think about things that would never even cross my mind. I like reading the posts and even the spoilers, it sort of helps me notice things I would have missed.
  14. Yeah, I think it is just the coaching change...not some mystery toxins like we had to invent last time.
  15. Get me to 14 wins! Where is the Purdue game at? When they play at home that place is a madhouse.
  16. Riley brought in, roughly, the same ranked classes as Bo...sadly that will not get "it" done.
  17. That is pretty much it... If after a year of 2 hours a day in the gym, 7 days a week...you look like Arnold...cut back a bit.
  18. Now they have a chance to reach their potential.

Very disappointed we only had one commit this weekend.........................

  20. Exactly...there is nothing wrong with it so don't cry about it (not you, i agree with you). Agreed
  21. Kind of funny...about a month ago we all sort of loved hearing how Frost left for Stanford, came back to NU and had to "pay the price" to earn his teammates respect. Now we have a kid that came here, left, and now said he isn't coming back. He doesn't even get called out for it he simply is told that NU football is about being all in...and we have people freaking out.
