  1. I don't see the Libertarian link wt fascists. Libertarian at its core has a 'live and let live' attitude. Please explain your thinking. I do see the potential wt Trump however. Flat tax or Fair tax - both have some potential pluses but both could be abusive if not implemented in a fair way. The current tax system is full of abuses, loop holes and needs to be scrapped or greatly overhauled. Yes, it would be difficult for Sanders to live wt a flat tax with his proposals unless the flat had multiple levels of % without the current loopholes. I guess you would call that a progressive flat tax - kind of an oxymoron Yeah...I have heard/read this over and over...that libertarians are fascists and/or socialists...I think what that means is no one really understands what the heck a fascist or socialist really is... Now...Rand Paul might not be a true libertarian (I think his religious views show that to a certain extent) but true libertarians are more like "Island time" guys...do what you wanna do...
  2. He needs to get bigger, like 20 to 30 lbs. That is the problem with recruiting bigs... You either get studs that are "ready" or you get projects and project-bigs are very hard to coach up and bulk up. Top 150 Bigs are usually not a prize...
  3. Miles recruited bigs...he just recruited bad ones.. I remember lots of Husker fans jizzing about Hammonds who was a top 150 player...
  4. Purdue might have a few guys out...so NU might be catching a very nice break. Purdue at home usually means super physical. Expect Miles to get a T
  5. He is an idiot. Yeah.....I'm sure your knowledge of the subject and IQ way surpasses his. I am sure it does as well...He is an idiot becuase he is not doing it for two reasons...we all know what they are. 1. TO is still alive 2. The Railyard is BLEEDING money...there is major pressure from those developers and from the the owners of the bars/businesses at the Railyard to not open up beer sales at the PBA just yet...they still need those pre-game, halftime and post-game crowds. It is the reason that the Champions Club is so freaking popular as a pre-game, halftime and post game stop...
  6. That is true but as you saw I think that was an anomaly, looking at there bowl play. If you consistently recruit 3-4 in leaque you are generally going to finish there MSU's records since 2010 11-2 11-3 7-6 13-1 11-2 12-2 Over that time they have had bowl wins over Georgia, TCU, Stanford, and Baylor. I think that also shows how weak that Big Ten has been...Michigan was kind of down...PSU has been down...OSU is loaded...NU has been down (Ironically beating MSU a lot)
  7. Other than I would guess they don't have to make a donation on top of the ticket price which is a pretty nice break. Yeah if that is the case that would be pretty decent
  8. Do you have your regular season spot in the LJS lot too? How do you like it there?
  9. Wow, the faculty doesn't get much of a break!

  11. We partied a bit with Ole Miss BB fans in KC during the dance a few years back...they were freaking fun
  12. Politics rule #1: When you are winning...don't debate. Hard Rock Rule #1: Insult a religion (so you can make more money when they protest your band) Hot girl rule #1: Dress slutty and get offended when people notice you...also get offended when people don't notice you. These are set in stone and will never change.
  13. I love the playoffs and want it to expand to 8 teams but this is kind of cool that 20 years later stuff like this still comes up because it was never played on the field.
  14. That is probably true...I don't think that is a bad thing either. That's OK in August. Less than a week before you are basically forced to make a decision...it's a bad thing. Sure...just like 75% of college kids (I hear about it all the time from parents) that are still "deciding" as deadlines get closer and closer. And, it's a problem for them too. However, the average student doesn't typically have a hard date that they have to basically make a decision that is going to affect the rest of their career. Usually if an athlete figures out he made the wrong decision down the road, it sets them back quite a bit. An average student can switch schools pretty easy and it doesn't cause such a problem. A kid like Fant that has been working at this for over a year, should by now at least know what he wants and what each school has to offer. True...maybe it is because he knows what he wants that the choice is so hard. Maybe he knows that all 3 schools (in his mind) have everything he wants.

  17. Yeah, I think getting them from the school is fairly easy now...
  18. Just curious BRB...do you notice some of your kids visit that go "better" than the others because of the host? Well, academic recruiting is much different than athletic recruiting. For the most part, when we would visit a school, the host themselves probably didn't have that much of a difference. We want information. We want to see what the school has to offer. The host can be a total dork but still get us the information we need to make a wise decision. Very little of the decision is based on...."Oh.....I feel more love from this school...bla bla bla...." I would imagine there are some super dorks that show you around! I know some schools tell the guides not to mention "certain places" or talk about certain traditions or parties.
