Is it common for coaches to randomly "mention love for" their AD? Maybe he just got busy coaching a football team or something wacky like that. There's plenty of time for man love in the offseason.

Get one of these ASAP Dude: I broke my foot (right meniscus) about 9 weeks ago and wore the boot for the first 7. I'm walking around just fine now and even did lightweight squats yesterday with only a little discomfort - and no pain. I didn't use crutches (loaned mine out once and never got them back), but could have easily shaved a week or two off the 7 weeks if I had. Just google Nebraska Orthopedics. They're called Cam Walking boots. Sorry, keeping mine to myself. I just don't think I could swap foot stink with another dude. They can be anywhere from $50 to $250. Just my 2¢, but if you can, get a more expensive version - they'll last longer. Mines a $200 on 4 years ago, and its gone through 2 broken/severely sprained ankles and this recent foot injury. Still going strong, if a little stinky - always wear socks with it!!! If you can, also purchase the set of crutches and make sure they're sized for you by a professional. That would come in handy.

Really? The Big Ten handed us the most difficult schedule they possibly could have these first two years. 2013-14 we trade in OSU and Wisconsin for Illinois and Purdue. If there's any time to make a run, it's then.

I can live with a 10-3 record, but I won't be sated with it. There was part of me that thought we could realistically have 5 losses at this point in the season. I thought there was a real chance we could lose to Wisconsin, OSU, Michigan State, Penn State, and Michigan. Especially given all the things that went into this very unique season. The way we lost makes me ill. Losing to Northwestern still hurts more than the way we lost to Wisconsin and Michigan, at least to me. A part of me thought we could just get slaughtered by Wisconson, we did. I knew going to a gigantic stadium across the country in different timezones in back to back weeks would be absolutely brutal, it was. All in all, I don't see this season as a failure so far. The way those guys battled back against OSU still makes me proud. The way they curb stomped Michigan State still makes me proud. The way they went into Happy Valley under extremely difficult circumstances and played the game like it's meant to be played, and just displayed exemplary class that afternoon makes me extremely proud. If we can rally, beat Iowa, and win our bowl game I really, really doubt I'll be disappointed with this season. But I won't be sated until we bring home a national title.

LOL...true, but I don't think a-hole to this degree was ever acceptable. Definately. This is an extreme case and the doucher should be fired. I was just making an off-hand, general statement.
