I will speculate, that he is a cancer. Can only run straight ahead with blazing speed, cannot cut even when healthy. Cannot pass or read defenses, I guess how long do You want to wait on him. Which was a lot harder to say when Taylor was murderating K-State and Washington. I agree with Husker_X. Do people even remember all the hate Zac was getting last season and that we wanting a new QB? Do people remember Taylor surprising EVERYBODY during the opening game with his 3 TD's and then to back that up against K-State, UW, and Okie State? Does anybody realize how much love was going Husker Nation during Martinez's first 7 career starts? Got a bunch of hypocrites on this board Yep, I was one of those, but after watching Martinez hold the ball and take a sack, basically not being able to pass, not improve on reading defenses. I would of took anybody else at QB. Did martinez ever make a cut, nope just straight line speed, no shifty moves.Looks to me if he has anykind of injury he is useless, just because he cannot throw.

Not everyone The injuries to me give Taylor more of a pass than anything. The other things - same criticism from start to finish. Heck I think for some it has gone all the way back to Taylor's recruitment. Not really about hate, so much as skillset and other things that cast doubt about him as a starting QB. I think we all realize the weapon on offense Taylor is when healthy. He is NO weapon when you can only run, the last 4 games proved that. Would have to make a major improvement in passing, reading defenses etc. Hopefully one of the new boys will at least push him to be better. When he gets the respect of the team let me know, he sure did not this year!

You should be playing your best ball at years end if you want to contend for any kind of championship. A step back this year! Really interesting to see where we go next year. Hope Bo has a plan!
