  1. You could break that down by position too. For example the QB position is generally more logos-driven than other positions. You don't really want to let your team see you get too high or low but always confidently in charge. A level head is also essential for reading the defense and it is so sweet to see a quarterback methodically "pick apart" a defense. While there is certainly a great deal of science involved in defensive play you want your line to play with plenty of passion and emotional intensity or they will get pushed around. It's a coach's job to utilize each of his player's skill set and personality. Not to say an entire team can't take on a unified attitude, but you can always break it down by position as well.
  2. It's possible he'll see the field if the opportunity comes up. I would hate for anything to shake Zac's sense of the coaches' and team's confidence in him. He's the leader of the offense and at this point in the young season I'd like him to establish himself and remain established as that leader. Cody Green may be the future, but Zac is the man this year.
  3. So we are 5-0 in Thursday ESPN games.
  4. The national exposure is fantastic. It's even better now that we have a product worthy of being shown off. Also to our advantage, I believe we are undefeated in Thursday night ESPN games at 5-0. I don't remember where I saw that, but I think Oklahoma St in 95 and So. Mississippi in 03 off the top of my head. Arizona St in 02?
  5. Thanks for the updates guys. I'm on the road and can't watch till I get home next week. Getting the updates from gamecast and 2 boards on my phone.
  6. I like rap. I think it'd be cool to have a hip hop song to introduce the team. But it won't happen anytime soon.
  7. The ESPN hate really started when Crouch didn't wear a suit or tie to the 2002 Heisman ceremony.
  8. Somehow I don't see Suh knocking some guys arm off his arm rest. Suh can learn plenty from J Peter, but he'll stay his own man.
  9. So who's more impressive so far? Keep in mind all of the Nebraska players played Arkansas STATE and FAU.
  10. Zac Lee wins this game for us.
  11. New to this forum and my team isn't all that great this year or even tonight but... I hate the Cubs
  12. But he did answer the question, he said they wouldn't do anything SPECIAL to make sure his young LB's are ready to play at VT. I don't get what the issue is here, question asked AND answered. Can you tell I'm especially nervous about a particular area of concern on the defense?
  13. That's one of the funnier things I've seen in a while.
  14. I love Bo's gameday demeanor and his defensive mind but it would be nice to get a real answer to a football question once in a while.
  15. The Ark St coach said that our interior line was one of the best in the country. But if they got past Suh and Crick they were able to get some good yards. VT has a couple of great RBs. Hopefully they won't be able to get past our D line. But if they do we might be in trouble.
  16. Watson wouldn't go back to CU. Unfortunately I would think #1 on their list might be Turner.
  17. Hands down it's Zac Lee. I have really liked what Asante has been doing as well.
