Having Martinez practice all week but starting Bunch because AM isn’t ready seems counterintuitive to me. It not only opens the possibility to further injury, but it inhibits Bunch’s growth with the offense.

In scheduling a regular season, I would agree. The erstwhile cancelation made for some pretty extenuating circumstances.

I like Scotty Sevens. He was #7 as a Husker. He won championships in ‘97. He was #47 in the NFL. He coached an undefeated team (won a national championship-ish) in ‘17... So obviously he’ll win another national championship in 2027, end up with seven national championships, coach seven Heisman winners, and he’ll retire at 67 with 307 career wins. Right?

Offhand, I can think of a couple QB situations that were significantly more frustrating. That’s just at Nebraska. Maybe we shouldn’t have stepped back on Terry Wilson? Outside of that, I don’t know what anyone can really say Frost did wrong.

I’m just saying players have nicknames all the time. Most of them get them before they even get to college. I mean most people have a nickname of some sort that sticks with them. Sidenote: I’m far from a bro; I actually find it offensive. If anything, I’m more of a hipster, so much so even my given name is a bit ironic.

There’s not a ton of DBs that tall, but that’s moreso that a 6’3” legit DB is quite the luxury.
