  1. I understand what you are trying to say and Betts has tremendous up side, but Wandale was/is a special talent. He would have benefited greatly with more talent around him and consist QB play. While OSU and Alabama’s wr talent is elite, they have many great players at that position, we do not.
  2. Thanks. So crazy, he gets more touches here than he will get by transferring to a top team. I haven’t read any of this thread, I am assuming there are other variables, Covid, family, etc.
  3. My specific question, is what is our confidence that this is really going to happen?
  4. Your freekn s#!tting me, this is really going to happen? Are we sure on this, or are we just guessing and nobody really knows?
  5. I was hoping this thread was about some of the posters leaving.
  6. I learned this program is still stuck in mediocrity. Really, you just learned that after this game?
  7. Obviously you have to have a masters degree to understand the WR playbook.
  8. I get Warner, he is going to get passed by some of the young talent eventually. My point is that Wandale is getting utilized more that anyone excluding the QB's, not sure if its advantageous to leave. I guess you could say the players want to win, but Wandale is treated pretty well and putting up some good numbers. The grass isn't always greener, and so forth.
  9. Why the hell would Wandale leave, he gets targeted 60 times a game? With that being said, I would believe almost anything at this point.
  10. Austin Allen is a tremendous 6'8 athlete. Having these two guys out on the field should be fun, of course someone has to pass them the ball.
  11. 1. Out recruiting all other Big10 west teams doesn't seem to mean s#!t. Question- am I the only one that feels that every team we have played has better? Defensive Ends Running Backs Wide Receivers Quarterback that can string multiple accurate throws Its exhausting being a Nebraska fan.
  12. Fryer and Rogers were absolutely on a different level, but if Newcomb would have stayed focused on a returner/receiver he could have been. You could make the argument that Rogers was one of the best wingbacks/returners ever!
  13. Exactly! He, like Spielman, but more versatile, will thrive when teams don't get to over commit to him.
  14. I see we are super positive this morning.
  15. I am going to oversimplify. Sign him, if he competes and wins the job then he plays, if he doesn't maybe he uses this opportunity to start his coaching journey and is asked to tutor and assist the other QB's. I really like the potential of our QB's, but nobody is showing us anything special at the moment. How long do you worry about hurting feelings and transfers?
  16. I don't think you were trolling, but I will ask why the hell are you watching a post presser on a Friday afternoon. A normal person would be slamming beers or watching another game.
  17. Seriously, what the hell is Omar’s injury? I tend to believe it’s an injury, because if it was something else they wouldn’t keep saying it, I think.
  18. Ok fine, but that was two (feels like 100) years ago.
  19. Im fine with Adrian, but for god sake he please hit a receiver on one freekn fly route! Just once, so we can believe its possible.
  20. One of our biggest recruiting losses ever, was Matt Farniok choosing Nebraska over Iowa.
  21. I will see you guys on maybe Wednesday. For my mental health I am shutting down my contributions for the next few days. Take care.
