Maybe this has already been discussed, but theres a JCONG who kicks for USC... Just heard his name and I am wondering, is he the same one that kicked for us? I know Congdon left due to personal issues but I never knew what happened to him. just wondering if anyone on here knows.

it was the signature of some guy on an arizona board
-
arizona is on defense. they are saying their defense is gonna hurt that poor feller.
-

Notre Dame: They know when it is time to fire their coach Their AD is a good guy (friend of mine) Their recruiting is top-notch Catholics vs. Convicts was one of the best rivalries of all time They have a ton of tradition. -
I was just thinking that. 2-0 overall isnt bad either.

Fourth quarter rally on our hands for the Heisman?
miamihrrcns2001 replied to Seattle Red's topic in Husker Football
Holy crap, this whole thread is f****d up. -
I mainly said this since Gabbert said we don't have high caliber recruits coming in and cited it as one of the reasons for his decommit. Also, exactly which posts have I had that have been locked? Only one was the Cody Green prediction and that was correct anyway. The purpose of this was to talk about how recruits view our team and how our commits/coaches effect their decisions.

Gabbert, Terry, Carter, Sloan. Four names that could have changed the face of the Husker offense and added depth the the secondary as well. Four names that were at one point, in line to be future Huskers. Four names that will NOT be dressing out in scarlet and creme next year. The first to go was Sloan, and uncertain commit from the get go but a commit nonetheless. Second was Terry, who chose a fellow Big XII North school over the Huskers. Then Carter who, along with Terry, would have provided the spark our receiving corps needed with Paul coming back next year. And finally, this year's Joe Ganz, the smart, athletic enough kid with a strong arm and a knack for leadership, the younger brother of the Missouri QB, de-commits due to a lack of offense and issued a statement saying "When you look at who they're bringing in on offense, they don't have the athletes or receiver as they do the linemen and backs. It's no secret which direction they are heading." But when we will look back at this class even with the possibility of a five-star in OWA and another four-star running back in Heard, this class could have been Pelini's biggest and best yet. But it will not be. Not yet.

ok seriously? Musburger or whatever and herbstreit?
miamihrrcns2001 replied to Rep The 402's topic in Husker Football
I hate brent mouse-burger but herbstreit is alright. I wish we had the Ron Franklin and Ed Cuningham duo. Those two are pretty good in my opinion and they get you psyched when your team does good as opposed to mouse-burger's voice always sort of trailing off as if he forgot what he was going to say or ran out of breath. AHHHH -
Burkhead should be the new starting RB
miamihrrcns2001 replied to AngryHusker88's topic in Husker Football
Long time no post guys, but there hasn't been a lot of interesting news among the coaching ranks recently. This one is sorta interesting though: Beck is pushing for Burkhead to get the start on Saturday even if Roy is close to 100%. Roy's shoulder took another hit against CU when he landed hard on it. According to my sources, Helu's only about 60% right now. This is not a good sign for us. -
Someone else deserves a Blackshirt?
miamihrrcns2001 replied to General Blackshirt's topic in Husker Football
heck the guys got like six tackles this year and slammed banks pretty hard yesterday... i think hes worthy. -
I was just thinking the other day about a situation like this.... Maybe have green, lee, latravis, and spano all in at the same time. Can you imagine the fits you could give a defense with an offense like that?? Of course it would take some practice, but you could develop a lot with that. especially since green and latravis and apparently spano are such strong runners. haha quadruple option reverse pass.

Rivals says Lavonte has a Nebraska offer. Dont see it saying that he has an offer on his rivals page. Although this isnt the Gospel. http://rivals.yahoo.com/nebraska/football/...te-David-100714 im sure if he was coming it is under the assumption that a spot is avalible for him........ if not why waste his time... plus he has no other visits listed... as with the reg season winding down he could make other use of his time to schools that have offers to him..... in other words i'm sure he has an offer..... because one of his top schools is kansas state, and fort scott is in kansas, not a far drive. he wouldnt be wasting his time if he came to see how his #1 choice fared against a top 25 team in primetime. how do we know kSu is his first choice and why didnt he just do an offical at KSU to see it first hand himself during a game day expirence rather than come to lincoln when as you said KSU is in his backyard...... i dont know..... first of all, JT at HI said that ksu is the one to beat second, he took an unofficial visit to ksu, but not official. He wanted to see them at home and away and they didnt play anybody good at home this year. -

We have quite the visitor list piling up for saturday. Owa Jermarcus Hardrick Lavonte David ^^ just to name 4 and 5 stars...

Nebraska is projected to play K-State this coming week and then Colorado the week after that...
-
yes he hurt his shoulder. Not as serious as before though, just like a pitcher after a complete game, he was wearing an ice-pack on his shoulder after the game. Don't expect the green jersey this week though.
-
Lee, the rest of this year Honestly, I don't know on this one. If I knew for certain, I'd have posted but from what I'm hearing, i'd put a 70% that Cody will get the start, but zac will play. The problem is that Everyone is really quite on this week. Who knows why.
-
Yeah, I think so too. Just a hunch. I also believe that he will not start against KU. Not a hunch.
