If you read Kenny Bell's actual tweet you see that he comes back with a "if you weren't one of the fans booing or leaving why do you care". The person that released the tape accomplished what they wanted too. I'm not on the fence on this one, I feel the same way about a fan base that leaves when the team is down only to run back when they make a comeback. Of course they thought it through. The timing is pretty good if you have Perlman and Eichorst releasing their statements tonight. It seemed to be released perfectly for the desired effect. Well, I'm not offended. I have said worst about some of the posters on this board, in private to a selective audience, mostly my wife who I trusted NOT to record and keep it for leverage later. How many threads talked about fans leaving and how everyone on here got upset. Husker_packers (what kind of name is that anyway) just go away. This was obviously done preshow of the Bo Pelini Show with Gary Sharpe using studio equipment. It would be fairly easy to figure who the production crew was. Just ask Mr. Sharpe.

When I watched the presser and heard him, Bo, say what he did I thought, can't wait for the firestorm on this. Bo's right, he doesn't want any negative talk around the team. I sympathize with Tommie. He did build a "Dynasty" and too see it fall from grace by the one thing that everyone is blaming, not finishing and the total opposite of what Tommie did, finish, has got to be hard on him. I don't know the relationship between Tommie and Bo and I don't pretend too. This was Bo, like Knapp said, blowing it off.

I think the fan base would be up for it, more forgiving or understanding of a former husker instead of bringing in a guy with no ties...
