I guess I haven't seen anyone upset about a search for the new coach. Seems most everyone is on board with finding the replacement for Miles soon. Where are you seeing otherwise?

@JJ Husker It's not really the fact that the search is already on (and presumably over), it's that Hoiberg's name has been made public, and some fans (and quite a bit of the media) want to take Moos to task for not waiting until the end of the season, when I'd bet a lot of money that the same subset of fans (and media) were just fine when Moos didn't want until the end of the 2017 football season to start courting Frost. 

From my perspective, this process has been handled a little less eloquently than the Frost one, but you're right that there is some measure of hypocrisy. I think the difference is that people feel less angst towards Miles. It may not be wholly fair, but I don't think people view what Miles has done with the bball program as negatively as they view what Riley did with the football program. They're just different beasts.
