Ha. Yeah. That's exactly how I feel. We have the head coach hired but it's critical that he puts together a good staff. I know that's obvious to most. I'm just hopeful at this point.

I was thinking the other day how the Michigan and Nebraska openings and how they are filled could have a huge impact as far as improving the Big 10's perception by injecting life into their respective programs thereby positively affecting the conference image as a whole at the same time. So much for that thought Nebraska. Again I ask do you seem teams like Bama, FSU or any top 10 team making a hire like this?

He seems like he's a likable guy. After Pelini sure that's nice but do you hire a coach at a school like Nebraska based on how 'nice' he is? I'll give the guy a chance but at the same time Nebraska fans and myself have no choice. Do you see 'Bama or FSU, heck even Michigan making a hire like this?

I know when in doubt I always listen to what the national media thinks.

So what makes him an amazing coach?

There are a lot of 'nice' people in this world. Of course you don't want to hire an a$$ hole but I could care less about the 'nice guy' bit. This hire was Weak with a capital W to say the very least.

Pretty much sums up how I feel. Have other previous head coaches 'consulted' for other schools to help them with big hires? Is this a thing? I've simply not heard of this before but I can't say I study up on college fb coaching searches whenever there is a vacancy.

I won't miss Bo, I won't miss his cat, I won't miss faux Pelini, I won't miss his press conferences, I won't miss the embarrassing losses, I won't miss watching him make himself look like a complete ass hat on the sidelines yelling at anyone within earshot. Won't. Miss. Any. Of. It.

We were truly f*cked years ago. Wisconsin alone has reminded us of that a couple of times.
