  1. Give him a break he just learned about hunting a couple weeks ago.
  2. So I admit that I haven't been following this thread very closely, but has anybody heard anything about Wullenwaber. There was a lot of excitement around him last year until he got injured. Just saw him in the USM clips getting physical blocking and he sprang to mind.
  3. It was 3rd and 13 you either make a play more than 5 yards down field or your going to the sideline. Furthermore who did he pass it to? Ben Cotton, when he turned up field into open space to get the first down yardage.
  4. Those are exactly what I'm talking about, he can scramble. Scrambling is evading pressure while attempting to pass. It doesn't matter if you run it or throw it or get sacked, once you become mobile you are scrambling. Like I said Taylor isn't very heady at it, that's something that just comes with maturity (trust in your blockers) and experience. He's light years ahead of his stumbling around stuff from his first two years, but like you see in chris' video he felt a phantom pressure that was picked up by Rex. He needs to trust that his guys will do the job. Which with the aformention OL palyer it can be pretty hard to do...
  5. I beg to differ, he was much better at it last year. Did you watch the CCG? Probably the greatest scramble of all time! He's actually a lot more mobile in the pocket than people give him credit for, he's just not very heady about where he goes. I can remember a pretty nice sideline catch in the bowl game that came off a scramblel. So maybe I agree, but he definitely improved last year compared to years past.
  6. In order for that to happen, we need to be MUCH better in pass protection, which I am not holding my breathe for lol. I hope will be though. Meh it's half and half. The pass pro was pretty decent last year, atleast compared to the past. But Taylor has a habit of feeling phantom pressure and scrambling when he has plenty of time to go through his progession.
  7. Like I said I don't know if you guys were aware of this or not, but the rule has essentially been back for a year now. It's a one yard buffer instead of two. I believe we were called for it once last year, though I couldn't tell you the specific game it was.
  8. It's just there to deliver supplies to the midlevel deck. *side note* somebody needs to teach T-magic how to park, just follow the FB link...
  9. Procrastination, it's an art that I am well versed in...

You guys are the best enablers anyone could ask for!

  10. I still feel like it's our division to lose. Although this does make me a little nervous for November 9th. There's still a lot to be decided but I think Michigan and Nebraska are pretty much always going to be competing for the division. I'll always like our odds as long a Hoke is the coach.
  11. So right now the whole arena is clad in red and silver. I think they should keep it that way, looks pretty striking.
  12. ok 2 things! What the hell is the first post about in relation to the thread title. And B, why the shoulder? One drunken night is all you need to know.
  13. It's basically back now, and stupid as ever. It's one of the worst judgement calls in all of sports, there are way too many variables for it to be called consistently. Sort of like helmet to helmet contact...
  14. He has some interesting definsive signals... wish I could find the one from our game with him playing with his moobies
  15. That's fine that's your prerogative. I'm just not really inclined to throw my full support behind someone who was seemingly dragged kicking and screaming into the situation and will now be in charge of overseeing it's structure.
  16. Ummm he is in charge of the new BCS playoff committee it says Yes, I read that. He's also been a part of the BCS for awhile and a major opponent of the playoff system or anything that's not the BCS/bowl format. I just think Harvey and his gang are holding cfb back.
  17. He's been a major player in the BCS for quite sometime. Sad really. The good ol' boys need to just let it die, or get on with it's next evolution.
  18. Good old Michigan educational system...
  19. Good for him. IMO he was better than Robinson and it makes me wonder what your staff was thinking when they sent in that other QB? Yeah, we all were. Devin had been playing receiver all year and hadn't even been getting snaps at QB several weeks prior to the NU game. Turns out he is actually much better than Bellomy, who would've thought?! Coaching staff made a big mistake there. I'd rather see Devin improvise the playbook and lose than watch the disaster that Bellomy brought upon us. I actually thought we were in trouble when Robinson went down because I knew Gardner was a much better QB, but to my surprise Bellomy showed up and I was elated.
  20. Not too far west. I grew up in the large city of Lebanon, pop. 70. It still shows up on google maps . I can't imagine what Quincy would call that area. It's kind of like a Mad Max wasteland (without the freaky people) since you can drive as fast as you want. Right on man, I drive out to Cambridge a lot but I've never been that far south.
  21. We would of with Fisher if he chose to stay another year.
  22. He must of hated growing up in Holdredge. He describes it as a Midwestern wasteland. Ever been? I believe he's lowballin it a little! It's not that bad, basically the same as everyother town with a population of 5,000 something in Nebraska. Atleast that's what it looks like driving through. Now Atlanta the town just down the road... yeah that would be a more accurate describtion. I grew up further west of Holdredge so I would occasionally drive through it while going back and forth to Lincoln. I thought it looked like a nice town. Father of a guy I went to UNL with worked at BD. I remember asking him about the bethpage place. He said there were more retards in that place then my home town. That was before PC so nobody thought it was wrong to call retards, retards. How far west were you?
