Ahman Green supposedly ran a 4.1x at the combine but it must have been hand timed because they never claim it when talking about records. Lost in all this is how 40 time is a pretty arbitrary measue of speed. All you have to do is look at the film and you know this kid can fly.

Notre Dame makes the most sense of any additon for the B1G but aren't they still under contract with NBC? Texas is in a similar boat, but at this point if ESPN was smart they would use any excuse to dump Texas as that deal was very stupid and they are hemorrhaging money bad on it.

As much as I hate UT, it would be nice to have a game close games again. I made it to a lot more games when we came down to Texas frequently. The pod would be the best system as Mavric said. Works well for the NFL scheduling, although they add in 2 matchups a year based on rank in the pod and dont have to pick just 2 teams at the end. Maybe by the time the conferences get to 16 it might be time to increase the Conference games to 10.

The pants for Illinois were kinda brown. Hard to say what could have happened that game.

Maybe Bo is interviewing for the OU DC position. If I were them I would give him a hard look. I don't think his temperment lends itself to head coach well but you almost want a DC that's fired up. Imagine just what he could do with 5 and 4 star DBs.

In a defense that is going to be on the field as much as ours I'm not sure we could find a player that is a true NT that can play all game. I'll take as much depth as possible there.

Frost is close enough in size and would be so much quicker than Lovie or Fitz. Id say they dont even touch him in a fight. Maybe depends on his take down defense I guess but still feel like he is quick enough to see them shoot and defend.

Ill be interested to see this around draft time next year. He looks way faster and im not sure if it was the unis but he looks like he lost even a little more weight Saturday. I would think he runs a high 4.5 at like 215-220 lbs. Seemed like the last staff was fine with him just being a power back but thats a novelty in the nfl. The way he looks now is exactly how an nfl apb should look.

I mostly agree that you need to load up on playmakers, but the Chiefs really just have 1 TE, 1 HB, and 1 WR. Everyone else is mostly meh(other than QB obviously).

I learned that after 3 games of solid play something has clicked for Lamar Jackson. The bench is a great motivator sometimes. Just another benefit to getting more depth.

Well they are 52nd in ypg and 23rd in scoring so the answer to all 3 is probably defense.

I think another reason Martinez missed that TE on the OT int was because it was originally a running play. Its not like he could know where any of his options were going to be. He had to just pick someone quick and get it out.

They do the things we need to do for sure. They should have probably lost to us and purdue but we both made mental mistakes and NW made less. Fitz also has the benefit of a very small fanbase and a lot of time. So he doesn't need to explain much even when they are doing poorly.

Just changing your run pass balance is not some complete overhaul in scheme. They are 3-3 and are doing exactly what people bitched about the previous staff doing here.

It really is a shame how disappointing that 2013 games was because it will always leave a bad taste when i think about that uniforms. Man did they look good though. The matte helmet with the gloss black stripe. The whole thing was just very different and it all worked well together.

Im curious about something. Do people genuinely think that the coaches just dont know to tell DBs to turn around and play the ball and you are some kind of football genius for realizing it?
