  1. Has it been reported what the actual issue is with his knee? Ive been really curious about this and the last staff, maybe at his request, was very secretive about it.
  2. I think this on both sides of the ball going forward looks like the plan right? If we are gonna run uptempo we are gonna need to have subs at most positions that can play real minutes. I feel like this is where Frost can gain the advantage over the big dogs that we can get close to but will probably never top in overall recruiting. The ability to develop a lot of good players, play with tempo, and just keep throwing bodies at them.
  3. Hard to tell in those pics but i went back and watched video a few times and you can see the light shine in the clear coat. I do not think they are matte, though I would be down for that. The matte helmets looks really cool imo.
  4. I'd rather have Moorhead tbh. Mullen did well for Miss St standards but have his biggest accomplishment is losing a BCS bowl to a triple option team with a starting calibre NFL QB.
  5. Thats not Westerkamp in the back right, next to coach Dewitt, is it?
  6. Yeah, that coach is hard to root for. He acts like a maniac then cant figure out why his kids are so undisciplined. He is one hell of a recruiter, but I guess its because he is so similar to the kids he is recruiting. Just makes me more excited to see a Frost led Nebraska team. I think we have seen with the last 2 coaches that players start to reflect the attitude of the coach.
  7. Figured this was the best place to post this, but if you havent watched it yet(or didnt notice) you can see Honas in the newest Last Chance U when they play Butler CC. You only get to see a few plays and they arent focusing on him, but he makes a huge impact in that game.
  8. He just said something like they both took group of 5 programs to heights "they never deserved to be". I may be exaggerating his intent in saying that but I saw it as him trying to say him and Frost are equals. It definitely seemed a little disrespectful UCF and Western Michigan though not necessarily false. Honestly though he just rubs me the wrong way so I could be way off base.
  9. Yikes that Minnesota fan must really be buying into the snake oil that Fleck is selling. Its funny because Fleck seemed to be really trying to put himself in the same class as Frost in one of his responses I saw.
  10. I'm not an expert on these things, but it looks like he has a super quick 3/4 release. Thats a big deal in any offense but especially in Frost's.
  11. Most fun? Probably @ Baylor in 97' It was rainy and nasty so the stands were pretty empty, and that team was just unbelievable to watch. They were light lightning on that turf. They also let us on the field after and I got to jump up and slap Wistrom on the shoulder pad (I was like 12 at the time so he was taller than me). Everyone was huddled around Frost getting autographs but Wistrom was my idol at that time so I was floating. I did forget to put film in my camera though so I had quite a disappointing next day lol. Most satisfying? Probably the A&M comeback in '06 i think it was. We were way up in the nosebleeds and it was a pretty crappy game right up until the end. We got lucky enough to be in the perfect corner of the endzone for the purify catch. Loudest? Ive only made the trek up to Memorial stadium once and that was 2010 Missouri. I'm sure it wasnt the loudest game ever but those late game 3rd downs the crowd was going nuts. (A&M gets a close second on this one too. That place gets damn loud.) Most disappointing? '99 vs UT in Austin. The refs were letting them get away with an insane amount of holding, and I'm not sure if it was on Solich or Crouch but it felt like we had a delay of game or close to one every play on offense. The home fans were s#!tty all game and after. Lost all respect for UT fans after that game and even heard later they threw trash at our team as they were leaving. Best OT? Never been to and OT game in person but the closest was probably the Alamo Bowl vs Michigan. That ending was weird and way too close for comfort. Hopefully Frost instills that mentality of playing every play through till the end.
  12. Damn, it's gotta suck getting arrested for trying to be responsible and not drive home drunk.
  13. @Landlord see its perfect. Those 4th gens were at the top and now fans of the newest ones are just happy if they are competitive.
  14. Have to agree with others that the delorean was a terrible choice. If you think that car was a fixture you probably dont actually like cars. If you want to use that as what we are then use a Camaro that was strong enough through the 80s, dominated the 90s(ignoring the weak rear end) and then disappeared in the 2000s. At this point I'd go with an EVO for us. Potential to be very exciting but still not sure if its gonna work every time. Gonna need a few trips to the mechanic still, but we should get it worked out.
  15. Hmm I guess I didnt see it that way, but if that's actually how he feels I'm fine with that. Im always for having as little governmental interference as possible. Good points man
  16. Don't like the idea that the University would hire someone proactively against civil rights, but you have to work with people who have different opinions sometimes. Just the way things are. Hopefully the University will be watching him closely. I do feel bad for the poor persecuted Christians though, who just cant seem to catch a break. As the majority religion in a country ruled by only Christian people it must be tough when they cant share bigoted opinions without people disagreeing with them online.
  17. That might be a bad sign for him considering the Titans history of coaching hires.
  18. Looks like he changed his mind and no longer has a top 4.
  19. Haha no worries. I can see how that was confusing.
  20. It'd be nice to see Wilson start to get some meaningful reps this season too. Very curious to see the frequency this staff subs out oline.
  21. He looks fast enough to play safety on tape; he was outrunning players as a WR. His balls skills look really good too. Big guy who can track, high point, and is agressive after the ball. Looks like he would be a great pick up to me.
  22. Oh yeah didnt even think about that. CSU is gonna have a bit of a rep for QBs possibly after Grayson and if KJ and POB do well.
  23. Didnt they just get a grad transfer QB??
