    Whatever dude. That was his first game after inheriting a burning ship. The fact that he was able to start to steer that ship in the right direction following is not something to overlook.

    Who's to say that isn't Mickey? He has been our best recruiter by far... I'm not saying that it is, yet...but if he gets the dubs...I don't know why he also couldn't continue to be a superior recruiter.

    What a stupid thing to say. He’s coached two freaking games. Of course Alberts is continuing to pursue other options…we don’t know how the rest of the season will play out. But rest assured IF Mickey were to say, get us to a bowl, then he would absolutely be at the top of the list AND be getting pursued by other schools.

    It’s never been a talent issue. It’s been a coaching/morale issue. I believe we start to see that differential to our benefit in the coming games. Mickey has got these players believing in themselves again and it’s going to show. Nebraska by 14.

    Fun story.. I met him in Denver walking down the street near union station shortly after the Oklahoma game disaster. Talked to him for a bit, such a nice guy. He was in town for the Texans/Broncos game.

    That’s absurd. If Mickey does well and he goes and hires a mediocre coach he will have a mutiny on his hands from the players and the fans.

    Me too. Honestly that would be best case scenario. I think they need to win 6 of 8 to be seriously considered though...and that's a very tall task.
