Most likely. the SEC would gain nothing by revealing it and then asking the other conferences for a favor. #5 to 8 are likely to have 2 or 3 SEC teams. Heck an SEC team can get a #5 ranking for a 3 point win over Colorado.
And dumb adult politicians.
* I don't think the Soldier Field match against UW counts as the 'Shamrock Series' because it is a Wiscy home game on FOX. To my knowledge the Shamwow games are just ND home games played at a different location and thus always on NBC. The cancelled 2020 game at Lambeau will be one if/when it gets rescheduled.
Cincy is playing @IU and @ND this year. They will really know that bus route.
I have never heard of Auburn playing a regular season game up north.
ND has been very vulnerable so far so it is not just another Purdue game.
I guess there was a relic from an era when college football games were not events for television? Still, if there's a snap shot of Barry sipping his flask, it is probably inside at halftime.
It's not like Southern California had turned into the UofAZ. Helton won the PAC in 2017 and narrowly lost the PACCG in 2020. Not that I had an interest in Clay's continued employment
the first clip was from the 2016 'upset' of ND @UT. If you have a minute please compare the hit by the Trojan kicker to the non-flagged attempted decapitation in Austen.

As for Helton at SC, we knew
They have time and resources to plan for multiple generations. At one time you could have said the same thing about ASU and FSU.
There was even a big Texas political slap fight over this. UT wanted in on the action. The Austen school wanted to build a "University of Texas at Houston" campus so they would benefit from the growth and not UH. I didn't hear if it was resolved.
Notre Dame's 3 point win over the Toledo Rockets reminds me of how much worse it could be

If the Alliance wanted to show they were serious, each conference would take a public+private school in TX. Then instead of just SEC teams, the state would be visited by all of the blue bloods.
If the allies want to play offense then they need to get into Texas. By conceding that TX is now an SEC state they cut themselves off from a large growing market and source of talented recruits.
they say that its now about on demand streaming. I suspect there are more Cyclones than Buffs who would pay $2 to stream a game.
A non-binding agreement that cannot possibly negotiate a contract in the jext ten years. I'd rank this as a Congressional Caucus or a here today gone tomorrow Italian Parliament
That would make it a lot harder to poach a top replacement coach, much moreso than whatever happened to Solich 20 years ago. The U would have a reputation of bad faith dealing.
