  1. So? These are the rivalries. No longer do you rival schools where you actually share a border or anything.
  2. Late Holding call takes a TD off the board. Stoops turning redder than Sooner's jersey.
  3. This is excruciating. Our D was hanging on for dear life, giving up 110 yards in the first 4 minutes. The offense gets all these opportunities and then drops a ball, misses a lane, or Golson doesn't see the WR.
  4. Well who'd have thunk it. Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Nebraska are in two stadia today, but not the matchups history would suggest. But this is the future. Michigan and Nebrasa are linked. ND-Michigan is winding down. I don't know if we have a long term relationship with the Big12 now that the conference race has ended, but we sure will be seeing both OK and TX a few times, while Nebs will meet all of our old big10 neighbors. The future is now I guess. Meanwhile. Stoops hasn't lost two home games in a year. ND hasn't lost in Norman. something's gotta give
  5. Doesnt matter, but Nebraska and OSU are knocking on your door. before it was worth six... isnt that when they used stone footballs, no helmets, and there were only 8 teams in the nation who played the game? Ironically, one of those eight teams just happened to be ND.... I think they count the game where a group of Michigan students met a group of Irish and taught them this new variation of rugby. But hey there are some who believe that there was such a thing as a national championship before the first world war.
  6. General, sometimes they can't tell when you're joking.
  7. Or even just Zac Taylor... Hoyer was Tom Brady's backup until just this year.
  8. How many wins from before a TD was worth 6 points?
  9. I think I infringed while worshipping a porcelain goddess this year.
  10. No, it means that the school, in addition to exit fees, would have to pay to buy back the rights of the conference. That, and past games may become unavailable to the school as well. There's no way the Big XII would hold their media rights hostage if a school wanted to leave--sure, they could do so legally, but they won't, and it just instead is another fee on top of the exit fee to consider. I don't now the specifics of the law but if push came to shove, the school would just rescind the contract and then only be liable for the $$$ of their rights.
  11. I can't find just found the gif form but he turns purple.
  12. Congratulations. I only caught the last few minutes again but knew you could pull it off. NW can be worn down in a way that ootOSU's cannot. GL vs Michigan.
  13. 1. Saban pulls it off. 2. Les Miles does it every week.
  14. Peoria AZ would indeed be a loyal fan's drive.
  15. The list of successful coaches that have done this is miles long. No way, Brian Kelly invented yelling at players in 2011.
  16. One transferred to City College, then back to Notre Dame, then to Montana. and then to Weslyan Coal college. I'm not sure if he completed a pass. #2 was scared out of UW by Vincent Price and now plays for Mt San Antonio College. But I'd take either one over Tommy Rees right now.
  17. I think Mickey is making a big mistake by becoming an SEC focused network. Just because that conference is the best doesn't mean that people in NYC, Chicago and Cali want to hear a lot of analysis promoting Arkansas vs Auburn. Now, a mistake for espn might mean they make fewer millions in profit then they had expected to but that's still considered bad for some businessmen types.
  18. the problem is that the Big12 was kinda new. The Big10 had 90 years of "Big2 and little8." and then it became Big2, an eccentric old uncle, and little 8. the game is on espnu now and will probably be on the BTN another 50 times.
  19. I thought this thread was going to be about a new pope.
  20. Sigh. OSU is a physical team and will remain very hard to beat for years, especially with Urban's sneaky recruiting.
  21. Oh dear, you might want to start. Or NU answer in 5:50
  22. Thanks, I wouldn't mind running it up like 1985, but Jimmy Johnson doesn't work here.
