  1. The difference between Crouch and Locker? Hmmm... one of the two owns more Heisman's than both Washington and Iowa St combined. Other than that, the difference is Locker is better in the passing game while Crouch is light years ahead of him on the ground. Funny how people seem to have forgotten how good of a player Crouch was. The Eric Crouch tape: I don't think you realize how good Locker is. He is equal to, if not better, than what Crouch was at running, he is just in a different offense. He also doesn't have a supporting cast around him. If he played at Nebraska during the Crouch years, there would have been another 3 year dynasty. Unfortunately, Washington's cupboards were (are?) bare.
  2. From what I remember of Crouch, I think Locker has a better arm.
  3. Right now it will be hard because Locker is getting all kinds of Heisman hype. Check a couple weeks before the game on Seattle Craigslist and the Bandwagon Seattlites will be dumping them like they are crabs (not the good kind). Speaking of which, be sure to check out Ivars for some great Clam Chowder when you get up here.
  4. That was AWWWWESOME! For the record, I can't stand Lil'Red either (especially because people mistake him as the main mascot)
  5. might sell out just because of a big red migration!!!!!! That's a given. I know quite a few people I grew up with in Nebraska coming out for the game.
  6. Tickets at Husky Stadium should be easy to get. The stadium NEVER sells out. As for where to stay, if you are looking for night life, Pioneer Square is where it all goes down in Seattle (the south end of downtown, by Qwest), but taxis are at a premium. Kirkland is also a pretty good to stay if you are looking at things to do, and they have a water taxi right to Husky Stadium on gamedays. Let me know if you have any questions! Seattle is my home.
  7. Wow, it's like you know my life
  8. I can't paste the article because it is ESPN Insider, but Green has narrowed his list down to his top 4 schools (as of 6/25), in no particular order. They are: 1. 2. Texass 3. Cal 4. FSU I don't think that is anything new, but it is a new article on ESPN from NoleInsider.com
  9. Wow, I thought we had good stuff up here in Seattle. I guess the smell of pigs makes it stronger in Iowa.
  10. Isn't the BigTen Network starting to televise Nebraska games this year? I am sure that will make up some of the revenue windfall that the BigSWC can't touch.
  11. The graph now has a awesomely symbolic look to it.
  12. I would rather have a Wisconsin in our division, or at least a protected rivalry with Nebraska East.
  13. This designer says, "If it is art, it is fail."
  14. I don't think that will ever happen on the interwebz.
  15. Im torn. Go with the Obama and red joke, or Obama and a bandwagon joke.
  16. He was a guy I admired for what he did for Okie State. That's why. Pumping money into a floundering program to name another...I still hold a special place for the Big 8, and after reading his book couple years back, I bought into his philosophy. And.....because Nebraska is being made the villian in this whole thing....and being born and raised in Texas, this type of publicity can kill recruiting. Coaches just love this type of ammo. As a side note, I was recruited by Texas....hated them then and hate them even more now. The arrogance. I think that answers it. And there is the strategy for this PR stunt.
  17. The north schools are really on their knees making sure Texas is taken care of.
  18. Why is there a white handprint across your face? Oh, I see you've been talking to Texass today.
  19. from the hawkeye forum. Meanwhile on the Texass Board, they are trying to figure out how to squeeze every dollar out of Nebraska and Colorado.
  20. WTF? Time to put down the pipe. :laughpound:laughpound:laughpound:laughpound
