I'm encouraged by quotes from the coaches and players after the Oregon win. They were excited and proud, but they also spoke about how it all wouldn't matter if they went out and lost the next game. A loss to Northwestern unravels the accomplishments of beating Oregon. I think, dating back to the Michigan St. game last year, this program has begun to show incredible resilience. They don't let the bad plays overwhelm them. They seem mentally tougher than just about any Nebraska team over the last several years. I feel very confident that we will take care of business this year, I think that we will win by at least 2-3 touchdowns. I feel really good about our offense now that we have some sort of identity, I think that we will wear them down with Ozigbo and the offensive line. I do not see Northwestern scoring more than 17 points on us, I think that Northwestern is going to play like they are stuck in the mud, I do not see them having any explosive plays, I see this being a 35-14, 35-17 Nebraska win. This team will remember last year and they will not let up, they will be eager to seek vengeance for last year and get after this team.

haha, I kept thinking about that Florida Fiesta bowl title game too when I heard about the grass. haha Nebraska can not play on grass, not going to fair well against the Fun and Gun.

I only watched the game 1 time but I thought that outside of Freedom that our Defensive ends looked pretty slow off the edge.

That schedule is brutal, I am not one of those people who are content with 9-3, 9-4 seasons but I think that in 2018 that we might be lucky to only lose 3 games. @Michigan, @ Ohio State @ Wisconsin @ Iowa and Michigan State @ home.

Nice, I need to actually go to some games this year. I go to concerts all year, no excuse to why I can't go to a game other than not being able to get a ticket

Comparing a NFL team to a college football team has all kinds of FAIL in it..... Well I have lived in Texas for the past 10 years and I am a CowboyFan.. I was Born in Nebraska and all my family is up there and I am a diehard corn head. Im not really comparing I am just saying that I am a fan of both and both of my teams FAIL right now...

Nebraska is just as bad as the Dallas cowboys!! Both have won 5 titles and we both have not done crap since the 90's! I am one irritated sports fan! Why do we always crap down our leg under pressure! I love Nebraska football and I can not switch teams because Nebraska football feels like its a part of me but man I feel like a loser being a Nebraska Fan, it is almost embarrasing I'm 21 and I never got to enjoy watching Nebraska football back when we won titles in 1994,1995,1997. I was only 7 years old in 1997... I still live in the eric crouch days and I still have my 2002 Rose bowl T shirts. I just wish that we could at least win a concerence title!!!! That would make me elated!!

I shrugged off the Northwestern loss relatively quickly, was not overally upset and was pretty optimistic about us still having a chance of getting into B1G Championship game. But man this loss looks and feels even worse 2 weeks later now seeing that we have to rely on (0-6)(1-9) Indiana or (2-4)(5-5) Northwestern to save our B1G Championship hopes. I'm no way trying to be a negative Nancy but man I thought that Iowa had a coin toss chance of beating Michgan state seeing that MSU has not beat Iowa @ Iowa since 1989. Really awesome how we can lose to an unranked team with a losing record at home and then how we can beat #12 Penn state in their house on the road under all the circumstances surrounding the program. .... Looks like we will all be cheerleaders and be forced into supporting the purple kitties on the last game of their season.. LOL because we all know that Indiana has no chance in hell of beating Sparty.

I am really excited about going to spring game tomorrow. I flew in Thursday night from Dallas Texas and have been spending time with my family down here in Omaha. I actually have not been inside Memorial stadium since I was 2-3 years old around 1992 The only 2 husker games that I have been to are the 2005 Valero Alamo bowl and the game last year @ Iowa state. I have had a pretty good time so far, I have been drinking a lot so far and I have been enjoying my fill of Runza so far. =)
