I think we should have a plus one in all sports. Like after the Super Bowl, pick the winner and a team that got upset in the playoffs and have them play or have Kentucky play another basketball team who got beat in the early rounds that should have won......How stupid does that sound. I know the plus one arguement has been out there for years but somehow it doesn't make sense. Why don't they just do what nearly every other sport does and have a playoff or just forget it so the controvery can continue forever.....

I would like to see Rex Burkhead get a bunch of carries...he needs the work!!

I think their opening game on August 30, 2014 might be a bit of a problem......IN MEMORIAL STADIUM.

I think the huskers should wear 'pinkish' or faded red uniforms for one game in honor of breast cancer awareness.

An opportunity to look at some of the new and upcoming players AND then hope that their abilities are again showcased this fall. We seem to get a 'glimpse' of a good backup and then they go into hybernation in the fall never to be heard from again.

Good point kchusker, I was just joiking about it. Of course you want to develop the fundamentals and the repitition of formations and plays that will be your bread and butter in the fall!! GBR

The reinstatement of the walk on program the last few years is starting to pay off again. When one or two walk ons become a serious contender for playing time you acquire depth at a position without waiting for the next 'young' scholarship player to develop or not having to 'throw' them into the mix when they aren't ready.

After today's game, maybe the tourney should be in Evanston, IL

What a disaster. We will definitely need to sweep Iowa to have a chance in the race for the BIG 10 and any chance for the NCAA tourney. Ouch!!

If they move the tourney to Omaha, I don't see how it would ever leave. I believe that the tourney would draw 15-20K in Omaha. It would be difficult to move that kind of support back to a place that draws 40-50% as many fans.

We all figured there would be bumps in the road BUT we do need to win tomorrow IF we expect to contend for the BIG regular season championship. It doesn't look like Purdue is going to lose too many not to mention a couple of other teams who are doing well. A loss tomorrow would make us 3-3 which would be devastating. Come on Huskers, get us a win!!
