  1. 13 is totally fine for a db, especially one with long arms. It really matters very little. Tomorrow he'll be getting rave reviews for his athleticism fluid hips. Special upside.
  2. Interesting idea. I would think NU would be top 10 for sure. Great players at most every position. I would say USC, Miami, and Texas would be the top 3 in whatever order.
  3. Strange topic, but he'll run a 4.5-4.6. If he runs a sub 4.5 he's going to be all the rage.
  4. Haven't watched near as much film on this year's class. I love Darlington, but I really think AJ Bush was underrated by the different recruiting services. Also, not an unheralded guy, but I LOVE DJ Foster. I think he is going to be the best guard we've had for many moons.
  5. Knew how much a win would've meant to ya True. I got mine tonight, so I won't be too upset if you get yours next year. With that said, Manning aint gonna get you there. There's about 3-4 defenses in the NFC just as, or close, to as good as the Hawks. Don't think Osweiller is the guy either. You have some real nice, young pieces at several spots on both sides though. I'm beginning to think its going to take a dual threat like RW or Kaepernick......something like that to win it. The position is evolving. I like osweiler but he's no mobile guy either. You guys have all the pieces, no kidding. A repeat may be realistic. That'd be nice. But in honesty, the only way Seattle's lost this year was against great defenses, and frankly bad luck (literally Luck in Indy). Having Miller makes the Broncos much better defensively, and I think his presence would have made things closer tonight. Need more youth/talent in the backend, and more depth up front. DRC and Trevathan are great players.

  7. So happy. Since RW has been drafted, I've followed the Hawks closer than any team in my life. Condolences to Broncos fans.

  8. Disappointed in the students tonight. I want a court stormin after every home win.

      Win a game, that's a stormin'

  9. Ya, bold strategy. A corner gets beat 100% of the time he falls down.
  10. Ah, Nebrasketball going full re*ard at the end of a ballgame once again.

I'll take the win and the learning opportunity.

At least they managed to bail enough water out of the boat before they sank this time.

      Terran Petteway...damn!

  11. He'd have to play nickel in the NFL, and I don't think he has anywhere near the athleticism to cover slot guys at that level.
  12. They probably would take him if he's available in the mid rounds. Guys like Jeremy Lane, Walter Thurmond, and Byron Maxwell (all who could start for nearly ever other team but sat in SEA) are going to garner big money on the market. They do have another big corner though in Tharold Simon. Baptiste is probably better than him though.
  13. I've read a few things mentioning his fluidity, ball skills, and physicality on film. Don't have a link but I know I've seen it. I do think it would be best for him to go in rounds 3-4 and sit for a year or two to get coached up. I don't think he's a pick and play guy in the NFL.
  14. Well that guy from the 49ers did deck a Seahawk gunner when he got pushed out of bounds, so I guess yah...
  15. The sad thing is, Richard Sherman is actually a very intelligent, hard-working, caring dude. The best teammate you would ever want, and a guy who is great in the community. A very down to earth guy. But he just says stuff like this, and it ruins his reputation, as well as that of the Seahawks. I can't defend it.
  16. Noticed it during the game but no one mentioned it. A guy on the SF sideline cheap shotted Jeremy Lane. http://fansided.com/2014/01/19/guy-49ers-sideline-takes-cheap-shot-seahawks-player-video/

Yeah, I caught that on the replay. It looked pretty bad. And then Thuggish Ruggish Bone Sherman stepped up for his interview and it became small taters.

    2. I am I

      I am I

I'm glad teams don't like each other anymore. That was a cheap shot, but it's also fuel on a fire...we need that in football

  17. Agreed, except for that statement slightly. Seattle's front 7 is nearly as good. Arguably better.
  18. The point that I'm trying to make that as is Brady only trails Manning by a small margin in a per game basis, all while playing with an indisputably poorer supporting staff. Top that off with a much better playoff record, and two more Super Bowls. Brett Favre has a lot of bulk stats. Is he the greatest of all time?
  19. Peyton's had the #1 seed many times (typically the indicator of best team) and failed to even win a game in the playoffs. Belichick was 36-44 before he got to NE, and his legacy was built the day Brady became his quarterback. If your best argument in the Manning v Brady argument is Belichick, then I can play the card that Brady is much better in big games. Neither really have much to back them except opinion.
  20. Peyton- 7.7 YPA Bardy- 7.5 YPA It's a runaway.
  21. You have nothing to back that up. It's just your opinion.
  22. For what its worth: Per Game Averages Manning- 270 yds 2 td 0.9 int 65.5% (1 Super Bowl) Brady- 257 yds 1.88 td 0.7 int 63.4 % (3 Super Bowls) Manning played the majority of his career with the likes of Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Clark, and now Thomas/Decker/Welker/Thomas. Brady played the majority of his career with Troy Brown, Deion Branch, Reche Caldwell, David Givens, with brief stints of Moss/Welker/Hernandez/Gronkowiski. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
