Awful if true and would just further solidify a retiring taking place at the end of the year or possibly sooner. Ok it was not that successful under Bellotti and he did a lot more than sustaining winning ways. He brought them to the top, which they had never been. When he left how did Mark H do at sustaining that winning culture? How about Taggart now? Oregon was what they were because of Chip.

Good point. However, Wisconsin is reaping the benefits of an athletic director that runs that program and they can win 10 games year in and out. They have some turnover with coaches (Bielma & Anderson) but it works for them. Proven when you see how terrible Brett & Gary are coaching at other places. Ultimately I'm sure they got tired of revolving everything around what Barry wanted to do, but hell Wisconsin is in a pretty fortunate position.

This is from the huskers online board. Apparently these were comments to rivals about his visit. Interesting. From the article on the front page of huskers online about 4* recruit Mario Goodrich on what he learned while on his official visit this weekend. "I mean, I learned that Coach (Mike) Riley is not going to get fired, basically, and that's always good," Goodrich stated as to what new he learned while on his visit, and he added, "Coach Donte (Williams) for sure is going to be there."
