  1. LSU is more of a top 50 team. Their offense is no where near the 95 Nebraska, 01 Miami, or 04 USC teams.
  2. Lavonte David --- 1st Team All-American. Well deserved

Awesome. Very well deserved. Where would we be without the guy?

  3. Tebow now 6-1 as a starter. Haters gonna hate. Nebula can't get over the fact that he clothes kids, feeds kids, educates kids, and shelters kids. All bad things according to him because Tebow is a Christian. AHAHA what an argument!
  4. Helu starting to play great ball for the Skins'

Carriker & Gomes too! Go Big Red(skins)!

  5. No... if Okie St. jumps Bama, Bama will go to a BCS Game, just not the NC. Bama would and should still be ranked ahead of Arkansas. Yeah sorry I was still on the IF Georgia beats LSU logic.
  6. No idea how he wasn't drunk here or in college, either drives like an old Asian woman or was drunk on at least 1 occasion.
  7. Bama outplayed LSU and went into OT and lost. Okla St lost to Iowa State. Everyone here would have to agree they are clearly the best 2 teams. If Okla St. jumps Bama --- Nebraska would have a good shot at playing them in our bowl game.
  8. 1.) That's inherently woven into his belief system, as his missionary work attests to. Proselytizing to "save" by influencing and persuading with an attached message of "or else." 2.) That's great. It would be even better if that selfless giving wasn't coupled with an omnipresent pursuit of manipulating the mindset of other human beings. Which brings under scrutiny that idea of "selfless." Was it done simply to help those in need, or to propagate what he himself holds up as his primary objective? A little advice: If you're going to call someone a fool, you're going to want to make sure you articulate yourself properly. I don't own anything called "a fool." Thanks for your thoughts, though (Any time anyone wants to move this discussion to the proper forum I'll be happy to take it up there. I'd let it go, but I'm not going to let a derogatory comment about my intelligence go unanswered.) Sorry, I forgot to get my gold star for you and your BIG. AWESOME. VOCABULARY. So we all came from monkeys right?
  9. Needs to be less conservative.
  10. Interesting. I always think it's a hoot when people try to answer for other people. Why would someone hate Tim Tebow or a kid like him? Doesn't make sense. The kid stands for everything that's good about football and life. To hate him would be a total waster of emotion. It does make sense, if you have an open mind in terms of legitimately considering another perspective outside of the one you rigidly subscribe to. Some people find proselytizers like Tebow to be roadblocks in the path of human philosophical evolution. Some people find their righteous judgmental mentalities to be an affront to all they stand for (i.e. believe what I believe or you will literally suffer for all eternity.) I could go on a huge long diatribe about how stagnant religiously mired mindsets have resulted in untold numbers of deaths in the form of crusades or been utilized as a justifying salve for the conscience as widespread genocide takes place (manifest destiny) or how, through greed and in an interest of keeping church property in the church's ownership, religious leaders paved the way for an untold number of children to be sexually assaulted, but frankly I'm already bored with this conversation. The funny thing is, you don't even see the other side of the argument. Your coin has one face, your perception one narrow tunnel of light through which a limited number of ideas may be illuminated for your appraisal. I'm not going to continue this conversation here. It's not the appropriate venue, and I've been guilty of having this conversation in the wrong place before. Feel free to PM me, or start a Tebow Christianity thread in the politics and religion forum if you feel the need to respond. 1. Tim Tebow has never said you were going to hell and suffer if you don't believe what he does. 2. Tebow blew through his $2.5 million signing bonus on various worldwide charity organizations focusing on famine, education and home-building in 24 hours last year. If you don't like Christianity that's fine you don't have to, but to say he isn't a GREAT kid that helps people and doesn't just talk about it but goes out and walks his talks --your a fool.
  11. One of the greatest songs ever

  12. Can you guys imagine having Stoops and Pelini on the same sideline? Stoops cries way too much for my comfort.
  13. He can't stay in his brother's shadow his whole life. Anyone would wanna be a head coach over a DC, especially for how competitive these two are.
  14. 508 yards, 10 TDs in One Game. Those stats make you say:
  15. Kristi Malzhan, Wife Of Auburn Coach Gus Malzahn - Crazy lady http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExhURC8iVqA

      She is a nut case.

  16. If Carnes wants to leave I'd support him. Never got a REAL chance at starting and will sit behind Martinez for 2 more years. Kids sometimes are "team" players, sometimes they know they don't have the skills so they stay behind that player, and others want to leave to get on the field. Is what it is.
  17. Don't know if this was posted already, but he tells a lot here. Says Bama was 1st, LSU 2nd, but they didn't offer him. Uh oh
  18. The mentality of the kids. It's just not in Neb, but everywhere. The kids these days want everything handed to them and do not want to work for it. A guy has to wonder how many kids that have walked on lately just go thru the motions of practice and don't give effort because they are apert of the team and that is good enough. I agree. I go back to my home town and have yet to see kids playing basketball on the outside courts in the summer, or playing football at the field. That's ALL my friends and I did when I was in school from like age 7-18. That was only 4 years ago btw. Long story short: I travelled to see my cousins on the east coast this year. Those kids play basketball ALL DAY EVERYDAY. Doesn't always matter your race or where your from, you actually have to go out there and play. That's why NY and others have ridiculous talent out there when it comes to bball. (Sorry, kind of off track but that's how I see it.) My other point is, Tom Osborne was a different animal when it came to having TRUST in players, and being an all around class act. Haven't seen this in Pelini yet. Acts too much like a D coordinator. See Will Muschamp at Florida.
  19. You have to at least win a conference championship, BCS game, or National Title to be considered a top 10 coach. So he's probably around #15-20. I like him, but needs to have an attitude and poise that makes a head coach.
  20. I was thinking the same thing as I read his thoughts. However, I don't think he would come back for anything less than a HC job. I would love to see Frost on our staff. I think he could come back as an offensive coordinator. He's only a position coach at Oregon. Beck is doing well, but Frost would be money.
