  1. i think we all know we wont be making it to the ccg.
  2. I like Pelini, but we got out coached plain and simple. He is a good coach, but i think a bit of a stretch to say his is "great". Great coaches win the big games, and motivate their players to win the gimme games. Big coaches win conference championships. Needless to say, Bo hasnt been able to do that. The question is, can he become "great" before the fans run him out of town? T.O. will only be AD so long. Will the next AD be so forgiving and patient with his development as a coach?
  3. This will continue to happen, so long as we have a Defensive Coordinator playing Head Coach.
  4. This is where you are wrong, people will remember and will care. Maybe YOU wont, but other people will, that is the difference. I dont care about the media, but i know some of the fans, the players and the coaches care. There is more to N football than wins and ccg. I think Tom O would agree.
  5. Thank you. Someone who gets it. Lord almighty!!!!!!!!!!! Respect be damned, just like we should hope that our non-divisional opponents beat our divisional opponents every game. I don't see why this is so difficult. Soooooo..... By this logic, we should have joined the Big East instead? Then we could win the conference every year because nobody else is any good. No! It's about pride, man! Beating good teams on their home turf is what defines great teams, and I would rather we be challenged. If we win vs. a 1-loss Michigan team, we deserve to make it to the CCG. If we don't win, then we don't deserve to win our division. PRIDE +1 I want michigan at there best, no excuses. Big12 north games were a joke most years, and people noticed it. I want the west... err, I mean legends devision to look as strong as it can. Iowa is a bottom feeder and deserves to stay there
  6. Most people in Omaha would disagree with you on this one. 30+ years living in omaha..... I would say most never cared about Iowa football. Hell most probably thought they were a C-USA school until we moved to the B10.
  7. LOL, watch us get washington in the rose bowl.....
  8. lol. not after that loss to Minny. I hope they stay in their hole the rest of the season
  9. Why does Taylor get bashed more than most QB's? Because he is one of the dumbest, most talented and gifted athlete we have had here at the QB spot. I don’t hate the kid and I am not calling for his replacement. I trust in Bo and if he says Taylor gives is the best chance at winning games, I am behind him. But, that doesn’t mean I wear rose colored glasses or won’t call it like I see it. I support the kid, but that doesn’t mean I am blinded into thinking he is something he isn’t.
  10. lol, just like he was going to "shock the world" against Wisc? Taylor needs to shut up and play. Wasnt he the guy who said bubba was going to "play LB or something like that"? lol, kid has gifts.... brains isnt one of them.
  11. he forgot he plays for Neb.... Its something done by most of the programs that have things on their gloves (ie oregon, Osu, Ou, etc). he have some gloves like this, but you put your hands together.....
  12. Forge

    NU vs NEB

Old Big 8 thing. OU, OSU, CU, KU, KSU, MU, ISU, NU.....
  13. I havent had a chance to rewatch the game yet, but i noticed a lot of plays, we had T. Moore at DT and Crick at DE. What are your thought about this?
  14. Well done! +1 for you, sir.
  15. He needs someone to show him how to be a leader..... we dont have anyone on the staff to show him how. Notice when Pelini starts freaking out, the whole team falls apart? Happened at TAMU, OU, Bowl game, now this game. How can you expect your players to controll themselves and their emotions, if their leader cant? Pelini's attitude is a great for a DC, not for a HC. Charlie McBride and Pelini had the same approach (playing bad cop), but there is no TO in this staff to be the good cop (stoic stability, calmness, confidence, etc)...... This is why Pelini will continue to lose some players. There is a time to yell, but also a time to lift a player up. Tell them to keep their chin up, things happen, you will get it next time, pat them on the back........ we never see any of this. I am starting to belive Pelini only knows how to yell..... I love Pelini, but it was too soon for him to take a HC at a place like Nebraska. I hope he is a fast learner....
  16. I would liek to see... DE - Cam DT - Crick DT - T-Mo DT - Baker DE - Carter LB - David LB - Compton CB - Dennard CB - Evans FS - PJ SS - Stafford Yep, I said it. Run a 5-2.
  17. Ive only had it happen once. I turned around and said, "Sir, with all due respect. If I wanted to sit down and watch a game, i would have done it from my lazyboy at home. I am here to cheer for my team and make noise so the opponents cant audible." He looked at me blankly for a second and said with a smile, "I am sorry, you are right." After that , i made sure to sit down when i wasnt cheering. I can yell from my seat, but refuse to cheer while sitting. Next game they were behind us again. We noticed two people down were older and always sitting. I explained the situation and they traded us seats. They were happy and so were we. If you stop being asshats and work with the grey hairs, its not really an issue. Some of you are just punks that need to get beat with a cane. But, some old people can be jerks as well.
  18. Not too bad, but probably not gonna be able to use N!&&@ so much for the tunnel walk Not bad for being from Lincoln, NE Much better than the OP
  19. dear lord, that sucks. I agree some things need to be modernized, but the rapping sucks, the mix sucks, and there is no flow. I am a fan of rap, but that is horrible.
  20. Seriously, dude, put that crack pipe down....not even funny. lol, not really serious I do see Cotton moving to a desk job in the next few years.
  21. I think it will be Cotton, Stai will take over as OL coach.
  22. I live in Seattle as well. They somehow think that the NU team that showed up in the bowl last year was their best performance and the Huskies were just that good..... Most Husky fans know they are still in rebuild mode and are looking forward to an 8-3 season with hopes at a Pac-12 champ spot. I am Husker all the way, but I will admit, they are making leaps and bounds compared to a few years ago when they went 0-12. Give Sarkosi (sp) a few more years and he will be giving Oregon a run for their money.
  23. If it's not coming out from the team, who are you to give out their secrets? You're the guy telling everyone at the bar that their friends are having marriage trouble or they can't have a baby because your friend is shooting blanks. If you aren't on the team it isn't your secret to tell. You have a major problem in understanding if you can't figure that out. Given that we already know Bo will lie through his teeth to the fans, media, etc. for no reasonable reason, I say yes. This was OUR (the fans) program long before he was every born or coached, but BO says its "his" now and clearly doesnt give a crap about fans. If he showed the "Fans" some respect and maybe he will get some back (same goes for the media). Now, I am a Bo supporter. I like him and want him to stay our head coach.... just wish he would stop the "Me against the world" attitude and play ball with the media and fans. In short, once Bo actaully tells the truth and shows some respect to the fans, they wuill probably respect his "secrets" alot more. Until then, nobody will care.
