  1. Ya when I was looking at this thread.
  2. MaxMara is paying the right ad company(s). I'm gonna go buy all of this right now. Once the fuzzy balls arrive and I tie them around my neck I'm gonna twirl them around my head until they knock me in the face.
  3. I don't really know who I want to win. I don't hate either team. This is so much better than having to figure out who I want to win between Alabama and Texas. Maybe 51% Michigan 49% Washington. But I hated the idea of Michigan blowing them out. I want it to be a 1 score game.
  4. College football in a domed stadium always seems wrong to me.
  5. Ya, in case anyone wasn't aware, the guy they're saying who got killed is the 3rd most powerful person in the Russian military, behind Putin and Shoigu. The head of Putin's favorite newspaper was found dead recently too, also young. Are these Putin's doing because their reporting fell out of favor, or his Russian enemies' doing?
  6. No idea, I was just reading the gap had gotten bigger post-pandemic. The gain from getting into the U.S. from South America is bigger now.
  7. There is a very strong correlation between job openings and border encounters, and post pandemic there is a much bigger gap between wages in the source country and the U.S.
  8. I think some of the “free-for-all” stuff will be improved. Everything is so new now. It takes time to make adjustments. A couple things being mentioned: Don’t open the transfer portal until bowl season is over Player contracts - they get more $ if they stay X years.
  9. We aren't 10 years from now. Why don't you ask in 10 years? You're assuming we're going to continue having lots of losing seasons. You should have asked this as a prediction; i.e. will we still be considered a blue blood in 10 years if *this* happens. Michigan is as far removed from a national championship as we are, and started competing for them again 2 years ago. We have 1 more conference championship than they have and more than that unshared. We have 4 more national championships than they have in the past 55 years.
  10. Based on a quick glance, there are only 8 teams that have done that since 1970. It's unlikely he's talking about multiple championships in a short span. A normal person talking about this would probably mean win a national championship and vie for conference championships regularly.
  11. What if climate change gets so bad by 2300 that the only states not underwater are Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska?
  12. Well, I was talking about their drive with 12:30 left as it happened, but none of the rest of the stuff Washington did struck me as stupid.
  13. They deserved to lose due to something extremely flukey, even though their defense did a great job stopping Texas from scoring in the end? No, no they didn't.
  14. I wonder what % of this team played high school bball.
  15. I want a big and fast Andre the Giant type.
  16. ‘Cause it still doesn’t feel quite like Nebraska’s conference. But not any less than the Big 12 did IMO. I never liked cheering for Texas. The other thing is Michigan is a blue blood and I think it’s natural to want other teams to win championships.
  17. LOL, this wasn’t a case of the better team beating themselves. They had almost identical penalty yards, the same # of TO, and Michigan had 22% more yards than Alabama and a higher yards per pass and higher yards per carry. It was 2 evenly matched teams that would probably split 10 games 6-4 or 5-5.
  18. I don’t. I’d prefer Michigan loses a close game. Then the new B1G and old B1G both look good.
  19. Yikes. It wasn’t Democrats who started this in Colorado. I think you should try to keep better track of things before deciding to burn the constitution w/o realizing it.
  20. I don’t think you’re making the point well, but yes I suppose political judges could just say a candidate engaged in insurrection, if they want. Even if there was no evidence. I’m not sure what the next step would be after that. Assuming the Supreme Court disallows this, will they say a conviction of insurrection be required?
  21. They had a terrible drive at the 12:30 mark and the guy ran into the punt returner, but I don’t know what there was other than that. I’ve seen Nebraska make 3x as many bad decisions in less time.
