@Dr. Strangelove capping late fees at $8 is stupid AF, as is calling them "junk" fees. There is such a thing as junk fees, but this isn't one of them. People seem to think their credit limit is their money, but it's the bank's money. If they are late on paying the bank back, it's not a junk or hidden fee the bank asks for, and the average of $32 is not much. The bank has to have a way to pay for losses. If this goes in, it will be good customers who pay for it by either not getting approved or by having higher APR. Your sarcasm was confusing here, because the article was just stating the information, without a slant to it.

I don't understand the first 2 paragraphs, but agree on the 3rd. The conservative justices for the most part just do what helps Republicans in the fleeting moment and aren't paying attention to the logic of the law or whether they're flipping precedent on its head.

Can you explain how it's a dead amendment? I haven't read the argument. We haven't had your what if. We can't just force people off ballots because we say they did something. Trump needs to be convicted of something relevant; something related to Jan. 6 or sharing classified docs,, etc.

It’s really weird to me that we refer to dictators as strong men when they are the literal opposite of that. They are so weak they can’t allow people with opinions to live, and they have minions doing all the dirty work for them. They are the epitome of what it is to be a weak man.

This has been my experience too. Not in business but in life; the more self-righteous a person acts about their Christianity, the worse they turn out to be. I say this as a Christian. When I was 14 I was working on a website for a store, at the store, and listening to a popular pop singer who was just singing a generic love song with nothing controversial in it. The guy who helped us with our computer/internet stuff was a pastor and he came in and lectured me about how evil secular music was. About a month later I learned that he was cheating on his wife and ran off with the girl he was cheating with.

Now people in Alabama are asking if they have to pay a bunch more to store embryos forever. Hypothetically let’s say embryos are people. Isn’t keeping them alive forever as a 3 day old couple of cells worse than destroying them? Also, they’re stored in -320 degrees. I’m pretty sure a living person can’t survive that.
