  1. The Big Ten makes the conference schedule so we have no control over when we play those games. I know...

Here's my theory. We're purposely doing horribly on punt returns so Oregon doesn't know what hit them as we score our 3rd punt return TD.
  3. The more I look at it the more I hate our schedule this year, but not for what was brought up in the OP. What I hate is if we beat Oregon there's a good chance we'll be 7-0 going into the tough stretch. That isn't really a complaint, and obviously it's what everyone wants, but we're all going to be excited and our hearts are going to be in it thinking there's a chance this is a great season and then we could easily lose to Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Iowa. It would be nice if we played one of the 3 early in the season. Don't get me wrong though, I think we'll win at least 1 and maybe 2 of them and I don't think we'll get blown out.
  4. Again, the ONLY thing wrong with the statement was the word "half." She should have said "many" and then there would be absolutely nothing wrong with it. As it is it's completely wishful thinking that this in anyway approaches what Romney said. Romney was in a private setting with all wealthy donors saying things he wouldn't say to the public. On top of that, he said it about EVERYONE who would vote for the other nominee. That's what 47% means. The other half of the vote. Literally everyone who votes for the other person is dependent upon government, believes that they are victims, and pays no income tax. There couldn't possibly be any other reason that they wouldn't vote for Romney. Romney's statement was bullsh#t. Clinton's was not.
  5. Bronchitis can lead to pneumonia too. WebMD:
  6. Not sure how on earth you get that she might drop out from those comments.
  7. Has he been talking about the other places in interviews? He's already been here. Last 5 tweets about schools that aren't retweets of his friends getting offers are about USC. If he doesn't come here I just don't want it to be OSU or Michigan. Let's hope his girlfriend picks Nebraska
  8. Well you are right that both VP candidates would be more popular than the tops of the tickets. Now if it were a race between Pence and Kaine, I think Pence would win as it appears the GOP is doing better than expected in many key Senate races. I think so too. All the Republicans had to do was nominate someone who wasn't a jackass in order to win this election.
  9. If Clinton dropped out of the election, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kaine get more votes than she would have gotten. Same goes with Trump. I don't want Clinton to be seriously ill but I would vote for her even if she was because I'd rather have Kaine be president than Trump.
  10. How about the Nebraska football team against the football teams they play against?
  11. There's no legit source. Also http://www.snopes.com/media/notnews/wendyschili.asp
  12. I'm actually reconnecting a hose that I took off, so I'm doing all of that right. It just doesn't want to screw back on. Whereas the flexible hose is super easy to put on.
  13. The SEC shouldn't have 8 teams in the Top 25. We could beat some of those teams and we're not rated. (But I'm not saying we should be).
  14. Yes that's it. The flexible hose is the one that I couldn't seem to swivel but I will try again. The solid one was fine I just could not screw it to the water line in the wall. But the flexible one screws into it fine.
  15. As far as I could tell when installing it, it turns. I tried to make it not turn with no luck.
  16. Literally the only thing wrong with her statement was the word "half," even though it probably isn't actually wrong.
  17. I don't like how it's being called right now but completely disgree with this post. It's politically correct now to look at the scientific research that shows the serious harm caused to football players' brains at every level and try to do something to prevent it? Huh? It doesn't matter what was done 20+ years ago. 20+ years ago the extent of the damage done to the brain was not known.
  18. Then again maybe the other way around, considering the whole thing was a huge mistake by the refs and none of the six noticed that last play should have never been allowed. Still I get what you mean, it's a pretty special moment, screw up by the refs or not, also one less Big12 team in the top 25 leaves room for one of ours. Didn't see it. But even if they'd lost it would still be why college football > NFL. There's a larger disparity in team talent yet the players are young and any team can beat any other team and sometimes underdogs pull off miracles (by miracle I don't necessarily mean a last second play but by beating a team with superior talent). The worst team in the NFL beating the best team isn't that big of a deal.
  19. I personally didn't hate it, but thought it was a jerk move. It's possible to do all those things you mentioned without getting penalized, like trash talk or... play good defense. He had just made an interception. That seems good enough to me to get into the opposing players' heads.
  20. I find it very unlikely she's wrong. 55% of the population voted in the presidential election in 2012. Let's assume in order to be a "Trump supporter" you have to be a Trump voter, and Trump gets 40% of the vote. So her claim is that 20% of the vote is racist, sexist or homophobic and voting for Trump. If my math is correct that means 11% of the U.S. population is racist, sexist or homophobic and voting for Trump. Is that so far fetched??
  21. Nobody's doing any of that. People are expressing concern at him throwing the ball directly at the opposing defense and hoping he doesn't do it against better opponents. "Against Oregon those two near picks ARE picks and one is a pick 6. " Got it
