Watching the highlights, that roll out that Northwestern ran was PERFECTLY DEFENDED by everybody involved in that play. Ankrah didn't lose the TE and trusted that Gregory would make the play and then help came. Dear Lord what a great play.

That play really jumped out at me EZ. Great lateral speed combined with the confidence of instinct. They looked quick, fast, and sturdy. THAT'S what I've been hoping to see...our athletes manipulating the course and direction of the play, rather than being dictated by the offense. Plus...we're hitting people hard all of the sudden. Those aren't shoestring tackles.

God...it's SO friggin hard to keep being patient but you ARE right EZ. Last week I finally lost control and said burn it all down...now I feel like MAYBE our lines are developing. I'm not gonna lie to you folks...my friend and I may have LOUDLY mocked the Iowa fan section behind their bench at the end of that game. Believe me, it was a reciprocal response. Also, sneeringly derisive. That is the largest group of people that have ever shouted obscenities at me. Hysterical.
