  1. That pic makes it even more impressive he was able to catch a wife like this. Plenty of dudes like BB get women like that with a lot of this: Don't be a hater.

  3. DuBose was a stud. He backed up Smith, and then tore up his knee when it was his turn. Keith Jones stepped in and played great, but DuBose could have been special.
  4. It's the FBS top 25. Not FCS. Do you really think they'd be in the FCS top 25??? It's Division 1 Football, brother!!!!
  5. I am still mad Solich started Christo against Texas in 1998. The offense started out so slowly under Christo. Finally, NU came back when Crouch entered as QB, but the game was close enough for Applewhite and Ricky Williams to make the drive at the end to win the game. That snapped NU's 47-game home winning streak. Of course, after that game NU rattled off another 23-game home win streak (snapped by Texas, of course).
  6. Ahhh, I see what you did there. Hahaha.
  7. My favorite story about 1995 Huskers was after the Michigan State game that NU won 50-10. Late in the game, Jay Sims broke off a long run for a TD. After the game, Nick Saban was asked about NU, and he basically said "They are so talented. I thought their best RB was the 6th stringer who had that long run after the game." There were so many good backs on that '95 team.
  8. I was wondering if people were going to start naming Frankie London, Brion Carnes, and Tommy Armstrong,
  9. i had a friend couple over for a game and they wore dallas cowboys' gear. hashtag yuck. We went to the Arkansas State game last year and saw a guy dressed head to toe in Gators stuff and a Tim Tebow jersey. I don't get the idea of "wearing my favorite football team gear" to a random football game. That makes no sense. The worst is when I am at a Rockies game and they are guys wearing Red Sox jerseys, when they aren't even playing the Red Sox. Yes, it is baseball, but "your team" isn't playing in that stadium.
  10. That is utterly amazing when people don't wear Husker gear on gamedays (especially in Nebraska). I am sure my family gets a lot of stares in Colorado, as we are all decked out in Husker gear on gamedays. Or, they are probably just staring at my freakish appearance. I just make it a point to wear red - sometimes it's Nebraska gear, sometimes not. As long as it's red I don't really care. Red is never wrong.

  12. Remember "No Husker gear Callahan"? Time to break out the beige!!!
  13. I am not too concerned about this game. UCLA was able to surprise a lot of people last year because they weren't sure what Mora was going to bring as the coach. They lost their stud RB and TE, who both torched NU. I am sure their QB will have some success due to his mobility, but I don't see UCLA stopping NU's offense, especially with the game being played in Lincoln.
  14. Use the extra cash from your 2nd job to upgrade your phone. Check your new phone for game updates while you are at work. You will know what's happening with the Huskers, and you can watch the game when you get home.
  15. Personally, I hate the guy who is out and says "don't tell me the score of the game, I have it on DVR, and I don't want it ruined". That guy is lame. Sports is made to be enjoyed live, via TV, radio, or webcasts. My son has soccer games that sometimes conflict with the Husker games. I follow the live stats from the game on my phone, until I can listen to the radio or watch it on TV. I wish there was a good app that broadcasts the games on iphones, but I haven't found anything yet. Any radio station app, like iheart, doesn't get to carry the broadcasts, and I have never been able to get the broadcast to work on the Huskers app from the University. Once I get home, I will watch the rest of the game on TV and then go back to watch the DVR for the portion of the game I missed.
  16. My grandpa would have sliced cucumbers in a cream sauce (probably similar to what you are describing) almost every day in the summer time. Grandma would pick the cucumbers from her garden, slice them up, and he would have it with his dinner (at 4 pm, hahahaha).
  17. I am not trying to be a d*ck, but when I see a guy in a jersey, I just look at him like "oh man, it's jersey guy".
  18. I've got a Royals jersey. Baseball jerseys fit better. Football jersey's are for my wife to wear to bed...with nothing else on. Baseball jerseys do look better. I do like the fitted jerseys that are for women. They look great at the games, and I am sure in bed!!!
  19. The football jersey is a big choice of apparel in a NFL city. I live in the Denver area, and there will be Broncos jerseys worn all the time. When they show the game on TV, the jersey percentage is well above 50%. Personally, I think the jersey looks like crap and is way too expensive.
  20. In college, we had a party to watch the NU vs. Arizona State game in 1996 (it started at 9 PM Nebraska time). During that debacle, I threw my plastic beer mug across the room at the TV. I got quite a few looks at that. After the loss, I just sat on the side walk, like the world had ended. Ha! I remember that one, freak! Nice job ruining our house! Our house didn't need help being ruined.
