Williams is a good player no doubt, but I think Fairly will be starting sometime during the season. To me, he was the best DT in this years draft and probably one of the best overall players. He is in no way as good as Suh, but I think he is better then Williams. Either way it goes, the Lions are going to have a hell of a rotation with their DL.

I think Farly has a real good chance at starting next to Suh. He is extremely quick off the ball and plays with that same tenacitity as Suh does. The thing that I don't like is his dirty play and the way his attitude is.

This guy is said to be the second best DT in Texas this year. Would be a great get.

This kid sounds like the type that will come in and bust his ass for the team(J.Turner). These are the ones that can bring unity to a team and make everyone around him want to be better. He is a bigger guy and that will be needed going foward in the new confrence.

Having "IT" means more then just performing on the field. It is swagger, leadership, just a presence about the person that radiates to others. JT has been said to have the it factor also and you hear players talk about how he is great to be around...Bell is no different.

What was it that made the Oline so terrible last year...the sacks, some pass blocking, what? I know Taylor took alot of sacks, but you cannot pin all of those on the oline. As far as our run blocking goes, I thought we had done a great job at that. We were a hundred yards away from having 3 1000 yard rushers last year. To me, that is a pretty good feat in its self. I'm with Girl on this one...With a new scheme and added coaches, our oline will be better.

David was commited to Texas Tech for along time and just decommited here this last week I believe. Wonder if him getting in trouble had something to do with it.

Looks like this kid is at the top of the wish list for the coaches. I kept reading about him doing wonderful during the camp circuits this last summer.

It is never bad to have a stockpile of outstanding talent on the DL. The more of these guys you get, the more others will want to come. Almost every top HS player wants to play with the best and prove that they are the best.

Beck seems to be implementing some playground ball into his scheme. The QBs rolling out, looking for receivers and the receivers running option routes and/or anything just to get open. This type of offense is hard to plan against for a defense because everything is spur of the moment and nothing is consistent. In high school, we played a team that was like this every year. The receivers just ran around and the QB would find them and hit them. Our LBers and CBs were going nuts on trying to stay with them.

If he's good and could help, give him an offer. It could also gives us more of an inroad into Klien to recruit more kids, like the other cb that was talked about earlier.

I thought Raymond would be head recruiter on more then one kid. I might be jumping the gun a little, but for being a supposed good recruiter, I thought he would be in on more kids then what it shows.

He will need to start heading down to the field around 5 mins. left in the first quarter and he will get back to his seat with about 3 mins. left in the game. It is a circus down there but it is fun also and the kids love it.

Both Fisher and Sirles were redshirt freshman when they first started. How can someone says that they didn't live up to expectations when they were only FRESHMAN. Why don't we give them another year or two before we start saying that they don't live up to it. Compton can fall into this also.

Yes and no. Yes, polls should not come out until week 5 of the season if what you want is a meaningful/semi-meaningful poll. But... no... we need polls now so that we have reason to talk football in March rather than work I will agree that it does give us something to talk about...and work is overrated anyways!!!
