@HuskerNBigD it doesn't matter if one of the many Twitter aggregation and caching services gets a hold of it. Then it's out there in perpetuity (see James Gunn and the right-wing backlash against his old, tasteless tweets he had already apologized for years ago and had removed from online). 

@VectorVictor Dang, I didn't know that. Could they, by chance, still find old tweets from an account that has been deleted for ~3-4 years? Asking for a friend 

If the tweets weren't deleted before they were scooped up...yes.
