    Usually a big Sturgill Simpson fan, but that new album is.... pretty bad. Admittedly, I didn't think I'd like it going in, rock music isn't my thing....

      I really should. Upon a second listen of the album, I've ALMOST done a complete 180 on this (probably a 140). I've had albums grow on me before, but don't know that I've ever flipped my opinion that much on an album between the 1st and 2nd listens.... Crazy.

       

      Too be clear, I still like his other three albums better.
