  1. You dont NEED five star guys, but you sure as hell better get plenty of 4 stars, and know how to develop the 3 star guys....
  2. Coughlin always sounds that way. I still say that Olineman had some huge ones to date (or marry?) Coughlin's daughter..., While being a player under him for the Giants!
  3. Well, how is it?!! For violence, the Old Testament makes Medal of Honor video game look like a Disney movie. Much like the Middle East today, in fact. Ha! The violence is abundant in the good book, for sure....
  4. OP---- How does the opinion of another human being (especially one's you don't actually know) make you feel "physically ill"? Pretty weak princess.... Having said that, I agree that Bell is under-appreciated by the fan base, BUT it's likely just the vocal minority in this case....
  5. If the improvement of Eli is any indication of what he can do with QB's, well it's a good hire. Surely Riley will be calling the plays right?
  6. Is this the first book of the trilogy? Yep! I just started it today. I bought it to read on the plane when I was on vacation but I ended up just drinking and sleeping the whole time lol Sounds like you did vacation right then....
  7. Maybe, maybe not. TA and him never really seems in sync this season. How much of that is on TA, and how much of it is on Bell we'll never know - but I think DPE next year will be a better option for whoever is under center than Kenny. Remove his attitude from the meeting room and IMO we'll be a better WR group. Agree to disagree I guess, but you're....
  8. All you people taking his Twitter interactions to heart, are just as sensitive as he is.... But I won't hold it against either of you
  9. The guy writes a lot of books about Jefferson.... Have you read his newer one on Jefferson "Art of power"?
  10. It'll get broken again in a few years. That's the transition of CFB today. Kenny is without a doubt one of the better blockers we've had come through here. He made some great plays as well. And I'm sure his personality/positions are overshadowing plenty of things for me...but I'm just not that sad to see him go. He wasn't good for the team, and this above statement isn't going to change my opinion of him which are based on dozens of prior ones contrary to it. The record will likely be broken by Westy in a couple years, but that doesn't mean what Kenny did wasn't impressive. Without a doubt, the WR group would be better next year if Bell was there (And that's not to say the group isn't going to be good anyways).
  11. Can you fault a guy for injury? The guy was as good of a blocker at receiver that I've seen at the college level, just superb.... Oh, he also broke the Nebraska career receiving record, and even at a program with a rushing attack tradition, that's impressive...
  12. Mitch Albom is a better than expected story-teller.... Great book.
  13. FYI, Mitch Albom is a really good author/story-teller...

  14. minus the "injuries", drops, grandstanding and multitude of other things that come with "football kenny". DPE > Bell...count me in the camp that's happy to see him go. a couple years ago I certainly never thought I'd say that.
  15. He just wouldn't let criticism go on Twitter. Felt like he had to take on everyone (as Pelini probably suggested the team had to do).... But, good for Kenny!
  16. His throwing motion is better, but I'd still take Martinez as my QB ahead of Armstrong...
  17. Good for him, can't wait to see where he goes in the draft.
  18. Unfortunately, from his reactions it seems that he does. The coaches literally had to talk him off the ledge at one point this season. Bo and Beck said Tommy was being too hard on himself. Even fellow players said the same. Imani Cross said to the press he was going to tell Tommy to "RELAX, it's going to be OKAY" because the team could see Tommy was taking losses so hard. Tommy is a competitor. He expects a high level of performance from himself and those around him. Hes always talking to his offensive players and you can tell he gets a bit upset when mistakes are made, but for you two to pretend he doesn't hold himself accountable is just plain ridiculous. There's nothing but evidence to the contrary. How does this conversation go from you "hope" he doesn't feel that way to all of a sudden he clearly feels that way and Rikey needs to set the attitude straight? The kid doesn't feel that way obviously. I haven't heard him once say an interception was all on somebody else. Not once. But suddenly he needs an attitude adjustment? This kids attitude is great. I love it. You two have never supported Tommy at QB, and that's fine, its your prerogative. I'm not gonna tell you that you have to like him like people tried to tell me with Martinez. But fabricating these stories is just ridiculous. Prepare yourselves too boys, I got my money on Tommy starting the rest of his career. Just messin' with ya
  19. Nebraska supporters might be alone in this, but Nebraska has always had a fan base that truly appreciates what kind of a person you are. You just hope Ameer realizes how much he will always be appreciated by HuskerNation. One of the best, without a doubt.
  20. Kids are impressionable. By the time spring ball is over with Bo will be a distant memory, and Riley will have won them over, focused on a new season.
