  1. Old high school coach took a patch of the turf we installed at our high school and cut and used it as a bed liner for his truck. Obviously rube pieces and sand were not put on the turf.
  2. When are the heat going to figure out that danny green has to be run off the 3 pt line. I love watching him bury shot after shot but you'd think the heat would figure it out eventually
  3. The travel they called on parker early in the game was an interesting call. It may have been a travel but I can remember Lebron and wade both doing the same move earlier in the series and not getting called for it.
  4. UNC looks nothing like a #1 seed

  5. The NBA needs to install a more severe penalty for flopping. 5k isn't going to do the trick. It has gotten way out of hand and they playoffs in general have been hard to watch at times due to all the flopping going on.
  6. If Miller does start for Haslem that means Lebron has to guard Duncan correct? This would be a big advantage for the Spurs at least on the offensive end. Now this lineup would also give the heat an advantage as either Splitter or Duncan is going to have to guard someone on the perimeter.
  7. Looks like we fared about as well as we could have in the draft this year. Having Boldt on campus for 3 years will be a huge upgrade in talent and hopefully he can help get things going and we can see some more talent start to find their way to Lincoln.
  8. Watching NC State yesterday and louisville today did Nebraska baseball wear uniforms like they(NCSt, UL) have this year?

No, Adidas broke those out for the Super Regionals.

makes sense then..can't decide if I like them or not

  9. Just wondering how this years MLB draft will shake out regarding current players along with incoming recruits? Obviously the kid from Minnesota will have a tough decision(can't remember the kids name) but are there any other recruits that are going to be drafted this year?
  10. Huskers out to an early 1-0 lead after UW hit 2 batters and fired off a wild pitch.
  11. SA is too good on defense. They almost never give up an open look. Yep, they definitely got the Warriors figured out. I was thinking after game 2 that GS was going to roll through the Spurs, but they made the adjustments and shut them down. Fun series to watch. This series to me was by far the best one so far to watch. You could see the Warriors were figuring things out as the series progressed and man do they have a foundation put in place for the future. That team will be damn good in a few years if they can find a bench scorer and a decent center. The Spurs just had that experience factor and in the end thats a huge factor in playoff hoops.
  12. Agreed. Reggie Jackson was in way over his head this series trying to guard Conley. Westbrook may not have been able to completely hold him down but he is a much better defender than Jackson is. Durant isn't comfortable having to bring the ball up and create his own shots. Westbrook being healthy would have allowed Durant the freedom he needs off the ball to run off screens and find the easy looks he was getting all year long. Westbrook also pushes the pace more than Jackson did which leads to easy buckets/FT's and in games as close as all these games were that makes a huge difference.
  13. Not really a big Memphis fan but to me they are the best chance in the West at beating the Heat. Amazing what Randolph can do without being able to jump. Gasol is by far the best center in the league and IF they get to the Heat, Miami doesn't have a big guy that can stop him.
  14. As a Celtic fan I was not happy when they sent him to OKC as part of the Jeff Green deal...always thought that kid could play and he has been proving it as of late
  15. Boston just made this series very very interesting

i am just bitter that it seems the heat are the inevitable champs. a lot of good teams, not enough great teams.

oh i am in no way a heat fan..this would be a nice series comeback for boston though... i think if the warriors can find a way to make it through the west they might be the best hope for a challenge to miami

Every team that could have been really good and competitive in the playoffs lost one of their best players. 4 of the top 10 players in the NBA are hurt right now.

Well, if youre coming back to Nebraska, youre actually coming back to winter.

  17. Athletically speaking Lebron might just be the tops of that list. No one will ever be the competitor that MJ was but Lebron is a physical freak. MJ is at the tops of the list as an overall player though. You knew on the last possession of the game who was getting the ball and it seemed like MJ won the battle every time.
  18. Missing my champion G'town... still in first having only missed 5 first round games and still having 6 of the elite 8 available...rooting for syracuse michigan and michigan st this weekend
  19. I actually think MSU matches up quite well with Duke. Adrian Payne will be a problem for Ryan Kelly trying to guard him. And Nix is not very tall but is a big enough body to give Plumlee problems just as Echinique did. Not disagreeing with your opinions, but what about Payne will be a problem for Ryan Kelly? I do agree Nix can bang with Plumlee. I think Creighton was more of a matchup problem. Although Appling is tough. Just watching MSU the first weekend Payne stood out to me as a guy who is a matchup problem. I haven't watched a ton of them this year but he seems like a very athletic 4 who hounds the glass and is very tough minded. I also think he is athletic enough to guard kelly on the perimeter or when he puts it on the floor. Kelly can shoot the ball no doubt but if you can make him put it on the floor MSU will have a definite advantage.

  21. I had Taco Bell. Tried that Cool Ranch taco. Pretty "meh" if you ask me. Did you get a Baja Blast Mountain Dew? This is the only reason I go to taco bell sometimes.
  22. To me the talent just is not there. Look back at the pitching we had back in the mid 2000's. Power arms were everywhere on our roster back then. I just don't see many of those on the team right now. Hopefully Erstad and Silva are addressing this.
  23. Looking to get a console for mainly online gaming. Previously owned a PS3 and liked it but always thought the Xbox online play was better. Not familiar at all with how Xbox LIve and all of that works as I have played an Xbox maybe 10 times in my life. So which would be better?
  24. Is it just me or have the refs in the NCAA tourney been absolutely terrible?

Well, looks like the officials made a potentially game-deciding call in the lasalle ole miss game

Another HORRIBLE call in the Miami-Illinois game

  25. I honestly think that the South region is the most wide open. No way UNC should have been an 8 seed. They were more like a 5-6. KU, Georgetown, Florida, Michigan and VCU all have a real shot at winning the region. Minnesota, UCLA and UNC are all sleepers that if they play to their potential could rattle off a few in a row and make some noise.
