HuskerFan06
To be named the starting HB?? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/scor...lege/index.html Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
He very well could be named the starter, but it doesn't sound like they are all that confident in pick. Quote Link to comment
huskergriff
Ha, ha. If you scroll down it says that Dylan Meier was named the starter over that silly sally Josh Freeman.....aww poor Josh, did coach princess lie to you? P.S. I still hope that Freeman gets to play against NU this year so carriker and the boys can mash him into jelly. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
complete conjecture... no one knows who is going to be named the starting I-back yet, not even the coaches... Quote Link to comment

I guess going to Kst works out ok considering we ended up getting Keller...think that woulda have happen otherwise? Quote Link to comment

New Husker Fan
With the "pound the rock" theme I think Cody would be a great choice. he has the ability to pound and pound, plus he can make people miss. i am sure he has a good grasp of the playbook also. Quote Link to comment
nepolo7
If they want someone who can pound and pound they should start Peter North. Its game week Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Although it is highly possible that Glenn could be named starter, I wouldn't think too much from this truth and rumors section. Quote Link to comment

skersfan
The only way B Jackson does not start is if the others have raised their blocking skills. He was far and away the best blocker last year and still is this year. Without a back that can block we take the chance of Zac getting hurt. He who can protect the QB the best will be the starter, running the rock is no where near as important as Zac on his feet. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
KansasHusker, it's actually from a long feature piece on Glenn in the Lincoln Journal Star. Glenn himself says they probably won't have the same starters throughout the year. Quote Link to comment
