HuskerFan06
Who do you guys think will be returning kicks and punts this year? Nunn did pretty well last yr on punt returns maybe stick 1 of our RB's who wont be seeing as much carries as the other on KR....Your thoughts?? Quote Link to comment
HuskerInKC16
I was wondering if we were even working on special teams this year. There has been no mention of it anywhere. Grixby/Nunn will probably share the PR spot again. As for the KRs, I think Wilson and BJax/Green should be used. But they have a lot of options for returning kicks so I guess we'll find out later today! Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Any of those options would be awesome!!!! Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
i think marlon may be used for KR's since we saw good flashes of his ability last year. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
I doubt Grixby gets any time at PR early this season because of the hand injury. Hard enough to field punts with 2 good hands. I think Nunn will see a lot of time back there. Lucky and Jackson and or Green may be the kick returners. Jackson was pretty hesitant out there last year, so who knows. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFan06
Wilson to return Kicks while Nunn returns the Punts Quote Link to comment
Alex 4.0
Yes!... Lucky and Wilson returning kicks, I am pumped... i wanna see at least one returned for a TD this year.... and have it actually count Quote Link to comment
BLKSHIRTD
what a combo to take kickoffs there will sure be some exciting returns this year Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I look for Nunn to be returning punts and Lucky and Wilson/Jackson to be deep on kickoff returns. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Nunn with the punts. Then I think once the season gets going, the running back that is not at the top, other than Glenn, will return kicks. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Here is the depth chart for special teams returners. Â KOR: 27 Kenny Wilson, 6-0, 220, Jr., Liberal, Kan. - or - 30 Tierre Green**, 6-1, 200, Jr., Omaha, Neb. 20 Marlon Lucky*, 6-0, 210, So., North Hollywood, Calif. 32 Brandon Jackson*, 5-11, 210, Jr., Horn Lake, Miss. Â PR: 83 TERRENCE NUNN**, 6-0, 185, Jr., Houston, Texas 2 Cortney Grixby**, 5-9, 170, Jr., Omaha, Neb. - or - 25 Andre Jones, 6-0, 195, Jr., Fort Walton Beach, Fal. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
You have that wrong... Wilson starts at one, with Greene backing him up at that postition, and Lucky starts at the other with Jackson backing him up. There are two kickoff return slots. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
That's how it was listed on Huskers.com. But I would think it's like what you said. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Lucky will be back there are one position since he showed the most potential last year. Quote Link to comment
dbetz23
Callahan's first year was a SCARY year in the return game. It improved big time last season. Let's hope it keeps on getting better. Quote Link to comment
