Eric the Red
Rushing offense: 11 (252) Passing offense: 7 (332) Total offense: 2 (584) Scoring offense: 9 (49) Not too bad. Beats being 114th rushing at 96th total offense or whatever they were last year. Quote Link to comment
Licensed to Ill
Wow, I love the numbers. Anyways, I'm guessing USC has a few number ones up there, same with Texas. What link did you get that from? Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Im guessing sCUm has to be number one in all those categories! Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
I would like to keep us in close range to what we are ranked in those categories right now. It is a lot to ask for, but as long as we stay focused and take one game at a time we will be right up there. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Damn, that would be pretty cool to end the season with those types of rankings. Hopefully, our offense can keep it up. Quote Link to comment
CENTEXHUSKER
Im guessing sCUm has to be number one in all those categories! Yeah by the way, who did Montana St play this week? Aren't they NAIA or something? Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Anyone see us being able to keep up those numbers? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I don't know if we can do those numbers against USC or Texas, but I don't see any other teams keeping us from those numbers IMO. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Anyone see us being able to keep up those numbers? Damn I sure hope so. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Anyone see us being able to keep up those numbers? Damn I sure hope so. As long as the O-Line continues to improve and the WCO should keep clicking as the players get more comfortable with each other. That should help with execution. The numbers won't be so lofty every week but should approach them. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
I think we will put up these kind of numbers against everyone but USC and Texas for sure. Those games though, I don't know. Quote Link to comment
Huskrz65
I think we'll be running A LOT against Nichols. I can see some passes here and there, but we seem to be very effective in that category. You could tell when we ran the WCO against LT we were running good routes and pretty much open and on target with the passes. I see Nichols as another running "warm-up" before USC. The Red will prevail in SoCal! GBR! Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Man I will go nuts if we beat USC!!!! Quote Link to comment
zoogs
More amazing considering this is week 1, the week of Division I powerhouses beating up on little punch bags. 2nd in total offense? We're not at the top of DI, and LA Tech isn't at the bottom, either. A really impressive feat that we'll be hard-pressed to repeat, I think, even against Nicholls St. The first few weeks, it's more likely to get absurdly low rankings for solid performances on both offense and defense, just because there are these top-10 teams allowing 20 yards of total offense from East Hawaii State College. That we're ranked so high thus far is an encouraging sign...we'll see whether we can keep it up. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Great numbers. We have to keep them up! Quote Link to comment
