Syzygyone
Well, the talk is that Norvell will get the ISU HC job. If he does, does that mean the Watson moves in OC role? Do you think he should or could we do better in the market for someone else? Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
I think Watson would probably get moved up to the OC. He seemed to do pretty good at CU. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Watson, without a doubt. I think he was hired with the thought that Norvell would not be here much longer. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I agree, I think it would be easier to find a quarterback coach than a better offensive coordinator than Watson. Quote Link to comment

So the question remains. Who replaces Watson when he moves up (assuming Norvell is hired and Watson is promoted)? Does Watson continue coaching the TE's and takes over as QB coach as well? Or is someone else hired to fill those positions. And if Norvell is hired, should/does he leave early and ultimately miss the CCG and Bowl Game to get started on recruiting or does he stay thru to the very end? Quote Link to comment

HANC
What are the chances of BC taking over the QB's ? Quote Link to comment
strigori
ALmost none. There is an opening on the staff, and you should aways have the max number of coachs alowed by the NCAA. I would expect a new QB coach to come on, unless Watson takes over QBs(I think I read that he did some QB coaching at CU) as well and they get a new TE coach. Quote Link to comment
hack
we could always rescue Scott Frost from KSU; right now he's a grad assistant down there. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
we could always rescue Scott Frost from KSU; right now he's a grad assistant down there. It doesn't seem like he likes the Husker program as much as he should, since fans booed him. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
Watson seems to be a popular choice but Gilmore has done a great job with the wide receivers. I hope he at least gets a close look. Quote Link to comment
mjmartin1970
Who are our current grad assistants? Do they have a chance at getting a full time assistant coach position, either TE or QB? Quote Link to comment
