Arntt2006
I think we'd be better off with warm and clear weather because we need to be able to throw the ball to win this game. The cold weather should be better for them considering that they pound the ball all game long. Anyone else think the weather is an advantage for them and not us? Quote Link to comment
BornNBredRed
I think it is better for Nebraska. The weather puts that much more focus on the run, which we are already going to have to control. I think it will make it that much harder to pass on both sides. We can take advantage and pull another defender into the box to stop the run. That, and when it comes to passing I believe we will be more successful than OU in the cold weather. Washusker
We've played in cold weather this year. OU has not. Further, they have turnover problems. I think we have an advantage. I don't think our passing game will suffer all that much. Quote Link to comment

I dont think it'll bother him that much. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I don't see that much of an advantage for either team. Cold, rain, and snow means that a team has to run the football. OU already runs the football. We tend to be more balanced and will need to throw the ball to be successful. We have played in poor weather before which makes me believe that the weather is about the same for both teams. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
I think it helps us more because we have played in cold, snowy weather already, and they haven't. Quote Link to comment
FriscoTXHusker
Since they don't see snow very often I figure they may not know enough not to eat the yellow snow. They hopefully should be feeling ill by halftime. Quote Link to comment
huskerdude171
Well its snowing right now....weather.com says there will be 6-10 inches of snow tonight in KC, should be clear tomorrow so they can clear the roads before all the traffic on Saturday. I don't think the weather favors either team too much, but I think the weather will make for bad field conditions which will slow down OU's pass rush. Quote Link to comment
ccm420
I think we are screwed if its snowing, we arent even practicing outdoors..... Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh82
Its not going to snow on saturday. Its going to snow on Friday, its supposed to be 32 degrees with overcast. Quote Link to comment
roadrat
The weather will make it very difficult for OU fans to even make the trip. It is a blizzard across northern Oklahoma tonight. Quote Link to comment
Marf
Pfft. Cold isn't going to matter for us unless we are fumbling. Oklahoma, However, Who relies so heavily on the run, Will be in deep trouble. All we have to do is lob the ball in Purify's general direction and we have about guaranteed positive yardage. They will be slipping and sliding all over the place with their run offense used to warmer conditions. Quote Link to comment
