gamecocks
ESPN just showed that Nebraska is 11-1 against teams from the SEC in bowl games. I had no idea that we had that good of a record against their conference. Heres to hoping that we improve on that record to start the 2007 year. Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
That's a great record. I had no idea we had that much success against SEC teams in bowl games. I really don't think they will have much luck stopping our running game. Quote Link to comment

It's currently rated 87th in the country. With only 13 TD's in the air and 10 interceptions. Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
Also the tigers only have one receiver ranked in the National Receptions Per Game category. His name is Taylor Courtney and he is tied for last at 4 receptions per game. http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/natlRank.jsp?ye...es&site=org In the Total Receiving Yards Per Game the tigers only have one player listed in the national rankings as well. Also Courtney, who is ranked last in the rankings with 53 yards per game. http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/natlRank.jsp?ye...ds&site=org This really is a good match up for us. I really don't think they have the horses to compete with us. Quote Link to comment

I think we proved saturday that if you can be accuate, you can burn us. Quote Link to comment

Auburn doesn't have the receivers. Quote Link to comment
DeathCultArmaggedon
They may not have the most skilled receivers, but in all honesty, if our pass rush is stagnating, it doesn't take a whole lot more to beat our defensive backfield. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I'm glad that we are pulling Auburn for this game because I was going to be fairly nervous if we played Arkansas...........not taking anything away from Auburn and I believe they are ranked higher just a general statement...............good to see we have that good of record against SEC teams!!!! strigori
In all fairness to OU, Malcome Kelley is one hell of a reciever. He did things like that to more teams than just us. Brandon Cox's numbers. 153/250 2087 yards. 61.2 Completion % 13 TD 9 Int. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
And those numbers are a tad misleading as well. He's been battling a disease/disorder his entire life and was injured late in the season. I think had he stayed healthy he'd have some very good numbers. This extra time off could find us having to try and stop one helluva QB. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Stats like this are so out of whack it's not even funny. What does that even mean? Great we beat some SEC team in 1950 forty billion to nothing. What does it mean today? Probably nothing. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan55
We are definitely better off with Auburn verse playing AR. It would have been a track meet against AR and we would have lost big much like OKSU!!!!! Quote Link to comment
BRS
Before we go chalking up a W in this game and saying how luky we are to play one team over the other, let's not forget that this ONE team beat the current #2 and #4 teams in the nation. Quote Link to comment
