Glennsteammate
What happened to the committee of running backs for Nebraska? If you've got 4 good ones, why not use all of them and keep them fresh. Bjax has done great but it wouldnt hurt to give him a breather or two by replacing him with another damn good back for a few plays. How many of these backs will be back at Nebraska next year? too much talent to go to waste on the bench Quote Link to comment

I can't say I would blame them if they left, but I see Jackson and Lucky as our top two backs. Jackson has just emerged as the man and Lucky is such a threat for catching out of the backfield it's ridiculous!!! Quote Link to comment
husker rob
there is reason why the others are not playing as much. missing blocks, being injured, fumbles. i dont think that any of them will transfer. compitition will make everyone better Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I agree...............Wilson isn't playing as much because he just seems to have problems holding on to the ball. Glenn I can't tell you why..........wasn't there something with an injury??? Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Lucky (back) and Glenn (ankle) have been hurt the last couple of games, and BJax broke his hand. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Glenn/Lucky have been injured down the stretch. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I would imagine though that all of those guys will be healthy for the Cotton Bowl............... Quote Link to comment
huskerhaze
I think the real question for next year is.....Will Lucky and Glenn be happy sitting behind BJax again....or with another year under their belts will either of them beat out BJax for the top spot??? Quote Link to comment
husker rob
that is a very good question that only they will be able to answer. lucky started off the season as the number 1 guy. bjax came on late and tore it up, glenn might just be pissed off enough to explode in spring and fall camps and wilson, might just learn tto block and hold on to the ball. DJR313
INJURIES You mean teh Cody isn't playing because he is hurt, not because Callahan hates him?!11 Wilson can't pick up the blitz, I think we clearly saw that in the OU game. Lucky has had a sore back, Glenn has a sore foot, Jackson now has a broken hand. This is why you need 4 capable guys, because this crap happens. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh82
Everybody has said it so I will too. Injuries. Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
Everybody has said it so I will too. Injuries. Good thing we got three more weeks before the bowl game. Plus Hickman was injured yesterday. Hopefully we find out today if it's serious or not. Quote Link to comment
ccm420
I just dont think we have used cody glenn effectively. We need to put him in on any 3rd or 4th and under 5 yards. Quote Link to comment
Jarred04
There aren't enough downs in a game to use them all effectively. How about using Dane Todd in goal line situations? My point is that with 4 or 5 guys who can all do something special, not everyone is going to be happy. Injuries have plagued all of them at one time or another. Time will tell how this will play out, but I am not that concerned. Who ever stays and contributes I will be happy with. Quote Link to comment
