HuskerExpat
Lots of good shows to mention, but I've been catching some All in the Family reruns on a local tv station. i vaguely remember it from my early childhood, but it is just as good as any tv show that is on today. probably too controversial to be on tv today though.... AR Husker Fan
1. Northern Exposure - a quirky kind of show that inevitably left you feeling upbeat at the end of each episode. Wonderful characters. A show that also made one think - or at least consider... 2. Cheers - for my money, the best, most consistently funny comedy ever. Think about it - did you ever see a bad episode? And it gave rise to... 3. Frasier - Wonderfully written. 4. WKRP in Cincinatti - talk about a bunch of oddballs that made for a hilarious 30 minutes each week. Dr. Johnny Fever, Herb Tarlik, Les Nesman, and on and on. 5. The Mary Tyler Moore Show - again, just beautifly written. 6. Seinfeld - Something different that quickly became a staple each week.
