huskerguy
I really think this kid is different from some of our past 4 star QBs, the way he is getting people to come with them and really believes in the staff, but I just hope to god that he can get bumped up to a 5 star so I can be convinced he is different!!! Our last three 4 star QBs: Curt Dukes Harrison Beck Josh Freeman Quote Link to comment
Silent Commit
Beck wasn't 5 star? Nope....a high 4-star. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
I like to think he'll be a 5 star eventually. The guy just seems that good. Quote Link to comment
westgatehusker
one of the things that hurt him early on was he didn't go to any camps but he's been to the nike camp now and did well so that should help Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
I would be suprised if he doesnt move up, he has the measures, speed, and skills to be a top QB Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
He might even move up after the elite 11 camp. Quote Link to comment
FriscoTXHusker
I don't care how many stars he has. I just want him to win a NC and Heisman for the Huskers. Quote Link to comment
Husker Hunyock
I don't care how many stars he has. I just want him to win a NC and Heisman for the Huskers. I like this plan. Tack on an extra MNC or two and it is perfect. Quote Link to comment
Spartness
You got the right idea, Frisco. If he's that good, I don't care if he is a three star, four star, etc. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Actually, I love it when we have players that everyone doesn't think are all that great, and they end up doing some wonderful things. That way, it seems much more impressive. I mean everyone EXPECTS USC to be amazing since they seem to sign the nation's top 5 players every year, so the expectations are enormous. We, on the other hand, have a knack for finding the unnoticed guys and developing them into 4-5 star material, which seems to be the better route, at least to me. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
Pretty sure the expectations around here are always going to be high, wether these guys get five stars, two stars or no stars, even most of the national media expects NU to have a top 25 team on a consistent basis, even though we have been down the last 10- years or so. It's just easier to do with the top talent. Quote Link to comment
