BIGREDIOWAN
That's great to hear because it's nice to know we have huge lineman that have good foot speed to fill those spots!!! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Speed and Power is a deadly combination at the DEnd position. Quote Link to comment

lapaesl
Suh and Turner will be great on the D-line for the next two years, I just hope we can fill the other two spots well enough to get a good pass rush. Quote Link to comment

Well I think we only have one spot to fill as Baker Steinkuhler will be a solid player for the D line. Quote Link to comment

huskers1
I really dont think that Steinkhuler will be on the defensive line. I would think that he would be the future at the left tackle position with Givens at the right tackle and Hoch and Robinson at the guards. With Yancy, Crick, Townsend, Allen and possibly Kuli, it would not be smart at all to put him in a position that potentially could be very deep next year. We lose our starting left tackle and it wouldnt be out of the question to see him start by his redshirt freshman year. Quote Link to comment

Personally I would like to see him at base end, I'm not much of a Zach Potter fan. Wow for someone so versed on the incoming class it makes me wonder........new fan? Quote Link to comment

Offspring2099
Whats up guys? BT came home this past weekend. The kid has beefed up! Not in fat but muscle. He is not gonna look as light as he did before. Bt is gonna step in and there will not be a drop off from last years seniors. We have always great DEs and he will be another one! That's great. I think filling AC's shoes is not an easy task, but I'm eager to see it done. Can't wait for Barry to put a hurtin on the QBs. Quote Link to comment

Foppa
So that's where he gets his great vertical Yeah! He won 3 state basketball championships here in Tennessee. He played with that guy Brandan Wright who played at North Carolina. They were very good. Brandon Wright... had to go pro. Carolina is gonna miss him. Anywho, good things to come from Mr. Turner...this guy could be All-Conference this year and All-American next year...I've always thought he has ALOT of potential, and this is the year he could really start shining. Hunter94
look, guys, it is fun to be cocky, but honestly the D as a whole has a lot to prove this season. i would be cautiously optimistic, given a lot of other teams have excellent offensive lines that will test the hell out of our guys. i will reserve judgement until at least after the 4th game of the season.
