Jim Harbaugh might want to check his facts

Recommended Posts

That nut only said that so when his team gets erased by USC he can turn around and say that they lost to the best team ever.

Oh gawd, Ppl that claim that this team or that team is the best college football team (other then NU 95) of all time. Do they just hate the fact that NU95 completely owns them all, this shouldn't even be a topic of argument, but yet they make it.

Herb was :asshat last year. Now I guess he passed the title to Harbaugh.

I think he was talking about the program. If SC wins the NC this year, they will be one of the best programs of all time.

We like to take a lot of credit for being the best, and we may have been, but we were not even credited with being the best of the decade, that went to Florida State.

All are entitled to their opinion. Just like we think the 60-3 were the greatest years. But there are some Oklahoma fans that would disagree with that.

No big deal, just a matter of opinion. Give the guy some slack.

It all comes down to what one looks at as criteria for "best team ever". Is it by on-field dominance, or NFL-caliber talent? The '95 NU team will never be rivaled in terms of beating their opponents. People can claim the '01 Miami squad based off their obscene collection of NFL pro-bowlers, but the fact is they needed some breaks during the regular season to get to the NC. I don't even listen to this argument because it is just dumb. And ESPN is a joke because they claimed a team was the best of all time, only to watch them lose in the national title game ('05 USC).

Jim Harbaugh is an ass. He knows that Stanford in football is completely irrelevent even in its own athletic department (they lost to UC Davis for God's sake) that he has to open his trap and make stupid statement just to get a headline at the Pac 10 conference.

Carroll's reaction to this was actually pretty good, USC is going to murder Stanford this year.
