AR Husker Fan
Guys, credit where it's due. Oklahoma is looking like a national championship contender... Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
Holy Lord they looked good. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Yep and Texas looks like sh#t. Ou can easily run the table. Quote Link to comment
admo
I heard Stoops in an interview on Sirius today (it was replayed from the week) and when asked about rankings he said the only thing useful about the polls is rapping fish (when it comes out in the paper). He said he tells his guys to win, keep winning, and dont worry about anything else. I like (or respect) Stoops, and OU is playing on all cylinders. Quote Link to comment
OmahaPlaya
I heard they whupped up on Miami real good today. I would not be surprised to see OU win it all this year. Maybe in a revenge game against USC if we don't knock them off first. Quote Link to comment
captain obvious
I wouldn't start suckin their dicks just yet. Miami isn't exactly a measuring stick opponent, plus they were at home. OU's good. We'll see how the season plays out. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
OU burned Miami to the ground. Saying "Miami isn't exactly a measuring stick opponent, plus they were at home" is weak. They treated Miami like they were Ball State. Of course we'll see how the season plays out, but OU has been insanely impressive thus far. Quote Link to comment

I think it's pretty fair considering how immature the season is. Texas manhandled TCU in the second half. I wouldn't hand OU the South crown yet. TCU actually seems to be a decent opponent this season, whereas Miami is in its first year under a new coach, coming off its worst season in god knows how many decades. Lay off of me, jerk. captain obvious
Oh and by the way... I would say that NU looked "insanely impressive" in its first game against Nevada. This, of course, being the same Nevada team that lost by a mere 1 point to MIAMI in the post season last year. Quote Link to comment

Northwestern is not a real powerhouse team, but they are not from the WAC or Confrence USA either Quote Link to comment
captain obvious
Nevada actually lost 31-36. Close, though. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
OU does look good. Bradford looks like the Sooner version of Colt McCoy. If I were a betting man this early in the season, I would have to say it's going to be LSU vs OU in the NC game. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Yeah they do look good and that's really hard for me to say that. Let's see how the season plays out though because it's been a weird one so far!!!! Quote Link to comment
