Dave M.
He just said their 43yrd post play to our 1 or 2 yrd line is just to quick of a play to cover. Can't cover those plays because they happen to quickly. Also says that they all look really big and fast... its hard to cover guys like that. The defense did as good as anybody could against that kind of talent. FIRE HIS A** NOW!!! Quote Link to comment
Dave M.
He also just said that it was great to get the field going into halftime and to make it a close, tight game once again. (We were down 48 to 24 at that time). Good job Bill... way to keep it close! By the way Bill thats not close, in fact it is double what you had. Do you need to go to math class with your players? And a close game at half would be fine if you had ever won a game when losing at half time! Quote Link to comment

I am I
i think he spends too much time watching film and drawing plays instead of seeing talent on the field and making things work for US!! we have big, talented, fast, strong, agile playmakers too. but instead of doing what OU did to us in last year's B12 CG (ten yd outs on 37 consecutive plays), he sits Castille, Holt, and Purify on the bench using the 'doesn't understand the playbook' excuse. well, Billy C, if KU can run a quick slant that we can't cover--why can't WE run a quick slant that THEY can't cover? Oh, right...there's only one Kevin Cosgrove in the Big12. Quote Link to comment
AG IN DENVER
I don't know why Dr Tom would allow this to continue any longer. Losses like these hurt your program and make it harder for the next coach to turn the ship around. When your ship is headed for the falls if you can't turn it around you at least try to beach it and get out. You don't just sit there and ride it over the falls. Well it looks like that what we are going to do at A&M and it looks like that's what Nebraska is doing? Quote Link to comment
DaveH
You talk like this is a new thing. Do you watch the show week to week? Quote Link to comment
RealSangSung
Just more of the same gibberish--replying to this post but found it more beneficial to just ignore what comes out of BC/KC mouths since the USC game and beyond. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Why would you watch that show? That's the key question here. It's like playing with a scab. It hurts, but there's some sick fascination that keeps you doing it over and over. Quote Link to comment
agibson95
I was expecting him to say 'They had guys, big guys. Sometimes they would run, like right in the empty spaces. They werent even going towards our guys. For some reason they were going away from our guys. How are you supposed to cover that? When they didnt run, they would pass the ball and their receivers would catch it. There are no defensive plays to stop that. Its very technical, but they run an offense that is nearly impossible to cover. They run, they pass, they score. We were doing our best job out there. I feel good for our guys. They put up 39 points against a top 5 team. No other team in history has done that against Kansas this year. That is something that proves Im doing an excellent job. Osborne is a word of his man and I expect to be here next year.' Quote Link to comment
bethelbacker
Why does he even bother going to these conferences anymore? He should have just recorded his statements from the one at Ball State and replayed them after every game the past 5 weeks (with the exception of the Texas game). This d-bag never brings any honesty or real analysis of what is going on with his team to the table, it's the same s*it every time, and a fan base like Nebraska's doesn't tolerate people jerking them around. Own up to it and say that you were out-coached, out-played, out-everythinged. As much as we might not want to hear how horrible we are, it's better than seeing it on the field then having the face of the program come and try to coach-speak his way out of it. News flash, Bill: it doesn't matter what you say, your ass is gone after CU. You might as well open up and have fun with it while you're still here. We're not idiots, and we are sick of being talked to like we are. Just come out and say you have done a horrible job of preparing this team. Quote Link to comment
RealSangSung
BC (in his own mind only) still thinks he's knows football and is smarter than everyone else in that regard--but 99% of us see through his BS and callacrap talk. Quote Link to comment
