Dundermifflinite
Good Ridance, Farewell, Sianara, F-You, U-Suck, Glad to see your gone, etc., etc. I know I will probably get sh#t from alot of people on here for saying this stuff, but oh well Cally destroyed all respectability this program had, he tore it apart. I have no respect at all for the guy and will be officially rooting against the Jets every Sunday. Good Luck YA JACK_SS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I laughed my ass off... Quote Link to comment
Hskr86
Back in 'The Day', a day of 'players trading stamps' (anyone remember those from 'DX' gas stations... with books and wallets for carrying them) the Jets were one of my favorites... with a running back named 'Emerson Boozer'. Now, however, I'm just immensly greatful that BC won't be doing his 'coaching' with Husker gear on... Quote Link to comment
walksalone
And i'm going to try to get to one game this year, hopefully, try and get as close to the Jets sideline as humanly possible, and yell at his stupid a$$ all game long, up until they throw me out... If I pull this off, you can bet it'll be recorded on my phone... Quote Link to comment
real'97champs
The Jets fans boo seemingly EVERY single draft pick the teams makes, can you imagine what was said after this came down? HAHA, good luck Jets fans, he'll do "An outstanding job in every aspect" and I sure it will be "too technical for you to understand"! i thought that was the eagles Quote Link to comment

If it was you'd have seen the "throwing 'D' batteries" comment... Quote Link to comment
clone
I guess Cally landed on his feet after all. Asst- HC? Wow, I thought he might get a position coach job or at best an OC job. Good for him.... Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
Ha, I just thought about something . . . what if some of our departing seniors get drafted by the Jets? Might be one of the reasons Lucky didn't go pro this year. Could you imagine Bill would be Lucky position coach and only use him for screen passes. Quote Link to comment
Bleeding Husker Red
Well no offense to Jets fans, but at least they don't have *too* far to fall. Maybe the powers that be there will wise up and boot Looser-C out (maybe with Mangini) before too much systemic damage is done. They aren't MY team, but one football fan to another, I hope that happens soon... for the sake of the GAME if nothing else. Quote Link to comment
MCAT800
Well no offense to Jets fans, but at least they don't have *too* far to fall. Seriously though Jets fans, My Condolences Quote Link to comment
Chef K
You look at the Jets boards and they seem to be very supportive of his hiring. Quote Link to comment
xkbubo
'course he wouldn't stick with his plumbing job "taking things down the drain" well, best of luck jet fans. I would hope BC has reevaluated himself before taking this new job and maybe the jets will step up a notch, after all the only way is up. Quote Link to comment
Spartness
Guys. Guys. Aren't you comparing apples to oranges. Just because he sucked as a head coach doesn't mean he will be a bad assistant. Before the Oakland and NU fiasco, he was well thought of. I think he will be fine as long as he doesn't get another H.C. job. There is a reason why a lot of assistants never become H.C.s. Many realize there limitations, and a few don't. Quote Link to comment

808Husker in KCMO
there was some talk on the Chiefs Board I frequent that BC was looked at for our OC job. I was so relieved when we hired Chan over him. Quote Link to comment
